I've been here a few times with friends and the food has been good but this time I brought my wife and the food was AWFUL!! I had a beef bowl and she had a mixed plate. My bowl had two chunks of over seasoned, over BBQ sauce and semi burned meats!! My wife's plate was the same that you couldn't tell where was the chicken as it had to much BBQ and burned food. We took 2 bites and requested bag to take home but ended up dumping the food in the trash just outside a different restaurant, that we went to eat cause we were hungry lol, that's why I couldn't post pictures of it!! I paid over $50 bucks there and $30 bucks at a different restaurant... I should've gone to waffle house instead lol will definitely not come here anymore!! I can't believe their quality dropped so drastic!!

I ordered the Lau Lau & Kalua Pork combination plate. I gotta say, this food blew my mind! The rice was *not* mush at all and everything was fresh and tasty.Weird take but most places don't have decent drink options. So I gotta say they also have the top notch drink options on deck including: Dr Pepper, Orange Crush, Starry, Mug Root Beer, etc. Also, tons of vegetarian and vegan options! The staff was so helpful and kind. You gotta come check this place out.

The food here was trash. Way better on the west coast. Save your money and don’t come to this place ever !!!

I've been here four times since they've opened. This is my BBQ plate lunch today 20DEC. Before it was less portions. Now quality is spiraling. Not sure what's going ok but it's clearly gone down hill.

I love the Aloha spirit here. I love the fact that I can get my Hawaiian favorites here in Savannah. Makes me miss living in Hawaii.

The veggies are clearly frozen or just waaayyyyy over cooked (I'm going with frozen.) ZERO seasoning on the veggies so they're just super bland. Chicken had a ton of fatty bits (not cleaned well before cooking) curry was bland. They missed the mark big time. Didn't realize it was a chain to I looked at the reviews. Process are pretty high for what you get. Lots of rice, some unseasoned veggies, one kinda small piece of BBQ beef, For mine. I will give it the beef was good. Lots of chewy bits in my man's chicken katsu. Disappointed to say the least.

The chicken was tasty, enjoyed the mac salad and the rice was cooked well. Ordered pick up, the cashier was nice and had my food already ready to go.

I have allergies. After explaining, they suggested a solution, charged me extra, then gave me only the food I am allergic to, rather than what I paid for. Don't watsd your money if you have any kind of restricted diet.

I've been blessed to eat at L&L in Jacksonville and in Hawaii before we got one here in Savannah. This place is absolutely legit! This is the food the locals in Hawaii eat. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We love the BBQ Mis, Loco Moco, and the Kalua pork with cabbage. Also, we get extra mac salad, that stuff is its own food group. I hope they bring Mochiko Chicken to the Savannah location. That stuff is amazing, but not even all Hawaiian locations include it. Run, don't walk, get a plate or 10 and you won't regret it!

From California. Pictured is Regular chicken bbq plate $18. Chx bbq is good, big portion. Mac salad is delicious. The rice was straight mush, not a good companion. Clean restaurant. Shocked at prices, but its been a few years since going to an L&L and everything is more expensive these days.

We love L&L the food is always great and the staff is always kind and helpful. We have tried almost all the menu! We always do take out but they do have seats to eat in the Hawaiian theme is calming and casual! Our fave is the spam masubi and the short ribs meal. Their Mac salad is great on the side! The chicken Katsu with the sweet bbq sauce is always a house fave.

Was excited to hear there is a Hawaiian restaurant in Savannah. Ordered the bbq chicken bowl, disappointing, I know prices are high these days, but 14.00 for a bowl of rice a piece of chicken and frozen veggies? Sorry but not worth it. I will give it another try in the near future and hopefully it will be better
