Great thrift store! They have the best furniture in town and their clothes are well organized. The staff is so friendly and warm, I always love stopping in here.

Well the place as of 4 years ago looks like it needs a helping hand for remodeling. Hopefully that prayer has already been answered. Also for the new coming residents just pray they won't write on the property and tidy up and of course positive staff brightens the place which helps with the repair of the human race, other than that this place has potential and could up and running. A comeback been nice! A positive one and a financial one. God bless

Well organized store and friendly staff. I look for name brand items when I lift and did not find any here. Cheap prices and nice items though if you don’t care about the brand.

Im not sure what is going lately but i had a scheduled truck pickup for donations on the 4th of April and was called to rescheduled to next Thursday. On 11th of april, i have been waiting for pickup since 9 AM. I called to make sure and get an estimated time of arrival and was only told they would be there soon. Original time frame was 9-12. It was 11:38 when i called.
So i waited a little longer til it was 3 PM. I tried calling but it kept going to voicemail. It is currently 4:40 PM and am still waiting for pickup. Havent received any calls.
I was trying to donate most of my furniture, appliances, clothes, shoes, etc. But now that ove experienced literal no service I will just throw them away.

Absolutely lovely, kind, supportive, and accommodating staff! All their TV electronic tech worked perfectly, no issues! The best used belongings store in Savannah, goodwill and other thrift stores all had broken tech, but not this place. Bought a TV and VCR!

I stayed at the shelter and used the thrift shop. If you plan on going to the thrift shop it is perfectly fine. Prices are okay and selection is fine for a thrift shop.
The shelter on the other hand...
Let's start with the positives:
Your first week is free and give you a clothing voucher to get some clothes.
They feed you well and the kitchen staff are wonderful people.
They try to give you information but most of the time it is 95% correct and 5% pulled out of random.
Hot shower
A bed.
Let's move to the negatives.
They have bed bugs (I will give credit where credit is due... They got rid of them after 2 weeks) they will blame you and say you are lying when you tell the staff.
Most of the food is expired when they serve it.
The staff except you to follow rules that they create outside of the SOP (standard operating procedures).
They will look for any reason to kick you out and don't really care why you are there but when you are leaving.
They charge $70 a week for the shelter which is ran for profit. (We won't even get into the fact that that they are a church ran charity organizations)
If you are assaulted the staff will do nothing. While I was there I was hit in the face for taking a shower. I was told to go to sleep after the situation and that they would not call the police because "that ain't my job".
They will let thieft occurr and I would even argue that they encourage it by not allowing people to keep their personal belongings on them such as a small fanny pack used a wallet and place to put anything that would go into a person's pockets and important documents. I had my socks and social security card stolen.
They only allow 3 outs for the day which can make things difficult if you are actually proactively trying to change your situation.
If they treated people like humans and not as a group of losers their motto might make sense.
If you need to stay it might do for a bit but look for other resources if possible.
Good luck and God be with you.

Very unprofessional. Was told to be patient after waiting 7 hours for a donation pickup. Then was called back to cancel the pickup all together. Should have just sold it instead of trying to donate.
