About Savannah Civic Center
The Savannah Civic Center is a versatile venue that hosts a variety of performances and events, offering a fun and engaging experience for visitors. It has hosted performances like Shen Yun, which features beautiful dancing, choreography, and vibrant colors, although some feel the ticket prices are high for the quality. The center also hosts popular events such as concerts, monster truck shows, and the Motown Christmas special, which are enjoyed by many, including families celebrating special occasions. One of the favorite features is Ghost Pirates Ice, an ice skating rink that provides affordable entertainment and is especially popular with families and ice skating enthusiasts. Visitors appreciate being able to skate in a convenient location, though during peak hours, the rink can get crowded, and the ice may become less smooth. The staff at the Civic Center are generally friendly and accommodating, making visits more enjoyable. Overall, the Savannah Civic Center is seen as an affordable and fun place with a variety of shows and activities that attract both locals and visitors alike. Its variety of entertainment options and friendly staff make it a popular spot for enjoyable outings.
I enjoyed the concert I went to, but the experience would have been even better if it wasn't so hot! Everyone around me was desperate for a cool blast of air; instead there was no air at all. Otherwise, I have enjoyed many events here.

Drove down from Virginia to see Joe Banamassa. The show was fantastic, the staff were fantastic and the experience was awesome. I lived near Savannah in the early 80s and went to several shows there then. Super nice venue with great sound.

Shen Yun was a good performance. It was not worth the price point in my opinion. However, the dancing and the choreography was beautiful. Their use of colors was also beautiful. I don’t think I would’ve paid that much to see it but it’s definitely something I can check off my bucket list.
