Location is great but that’s about it. Customer service is severely lacking, only place I have stayed where room service did not clean up (even after we told front desk). For $300 a night, this is unacceptable. Will be staying at another accommodation for my last night in Savannah - do better Staybridge.

Checked in on March 14th for St. Patrick's Day Weekend. The staff was very friendly through a chaotic weekend. Everyone on staff always had a smile on their face and a positive attitude.Breakfast was very good and what a nice surprise of happy hour snacks!!We appreciated the extra security during Saturday's events. The room had a little noise but expected during festivities. I had packed earplugs. We have stayed at multiple locations in Savannah for this event. We enjoyed our stay here the best so far. Nice that it is a little away from the City Market chaos.Rooms: We enjoyed having the mini kitchen with a full-size refrigerator.Nice having a microwave, coffee pot, and toaster in the room.Nearby activities: Cafe M is great for brunch.River Street is very near.Few blocks from walkable Broughton StreetSafety: Extra security during St. Patrick's Day weekendWalkability: Very walkable to downtown areaFood & drinks: Great on-site breakfast, nice service at on-site bar and they had happy hour snacks.

Can't beat the service and location of this hotel. Rooms are fine but not all have windows that actually have natural light, which was a bit disconcerting to us but might not bother others.Food & drinks: Breakfast was better than average but I wished for plain grits. Not everyone can eat cheese and we had cheese grits every morning

Free breakfast was the nicest amenity. Place is a little run down and not the cleanest but mostly fine especially for one night.

The location of this hotel is perfect! Right in the heart of the historic area, and within walking distance to most of the restaurants and shops! The staff could not have been any more friendly and accommodating! The rooms were on the small size, but it was very clean, with a small well equipped kitchen that had everything you needed to prepare a meal, with a two burner stove, and a much larger refrigerator that most hotels, it even had a dishwasher! The beds were not very "Back Friendly". The only negative was the lack of room cleaning. They advised us beforehand that there would not be any room cleaning on Christmas Day, and that is understandable. But there was NO room maintenance the entire three day stay, and we had to ask for clean towels. Be prepared to pay $25.00 per day for parking, but its worth it, considering parking in Savannah is the biggest negative about visiting here, and expect to deal with a large number of homeless.

The rooms are very tired. When we arrived our kitchen floor was dirty and the bathroom was not clean. It had pink mold. It was Christmas Eve so I understand having less cleaning staff available. The day manager and desk staff were very polite and nice. I think they are doing the best they can. Nonetheless I probably wouldn’t stay at this location again despite the excellent location minutes to walk to everything in the historic downtown. I stayed with a pet.Update: The staff tried to clean the room and did change the bed. But frankly the bathroom needs to be deep cleaned and truly renovated to be get it in shape it could be kept up. It’s turned me off IHG hotels and I booked a different chain that I’ve been happy with for my next stay in a few days in a different city (that doesn’t let their 2-3 star hotels get so run down).

Stayed at this hotel for 8 nights over New Years Eve, felt safe and well taken care of as a solo traveler. Customer service is wonderful. I was given a welcome card as a thank you. It was a handwritten personalized invite that is quite a lost art, to take the time to do, this electronic age and time. The suite with a King Bed City View was not as big enough as some of the other Staybridge hotels I’ve stayed at in other cities that are comparatively larger in square feet. But I wouldn’t change a thing considering the proximity of this place to every attraction or place to visit you have in mind. River Street is a few steps across, Broughton Street, a shoppers street is about a 2 min walk, the trolley stop is a few feet away and most tours pick you up right outside the door all because you’re in the heart of the historic district. You can visit all 22 green squares right from living here and learn so much history, under the Spanish moss draped tree lined streets. The top most 4th floor is quiet and this place is pet friendly. 2 elevators on either side provide a short wait time. The room windows have plantation shutters, that was quite fun for me to close each night. The bathtub could use an upgrade but again, it’s nonetheless good enough to use, no complaints. Breakfast has many options like cereal, turkey sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, assortment of fruits, yogurt, bread, bagels, and coffee/juices. Coffee is available 24/7. The gym is also accessible 24/7, with treadmills, step climber, stationary bike, smith machine weights, etc. Or you could head across the street to Emmet Park, clear your thoughts while reflecting on life by taking a nice run. Will stay again, for sure.Nearby activities: Lots to see and do.Safety: Nice, friendly folks.Walkability: Historic District and River Street accessible.
