The shop is nicely curated and the employees were friendly. However, I noticed they cut the tags out of a lot of their pieces that were obviously made after 2000, which made choosing difficult for size reasons. I was happy with my denim purchase until I got home and searched the name on the buttons only to realize it is H&M's brand. The same item I paid $40 for at Future was $17-20 on Poshmark/EBay and said to be $35 originally. Given how many are available online I'm guessing it was available in H&M within the last few years. Most of this is on me for not doing more diligence while in the shop, but I realize now that they purposely cut out the tags on the non-vintage stuff to trick shoppers. Just gives me an icky feeling. I won't be back.

Wonderful little vintage store that is somehow packed with treasures but not overwhelming! They have everything from great dresses, shoes, tees... you name it. I walked out with a great little silk scarf I've been tying around my bags and weaving through my pony tail since I left the store. They have changing rooms so no need to do the awkward over the clothes try ons. Check their hours before making the trip! They close early (around 5 I think) and are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesday. We were staying just a block away but almost didn't make it because we kept leaving the area too early and getting back too late. Worth the trip! Especially since they are right by Forsyth Park, so you'll want to take a little stroll with your new vintage finds right away.

I want to start off by saying that the staff was literally so kind and helpful, and I also appreciate that the selection was well-curated. Most of the garments I saw were priced between $30 and $100 which wasn't great but also wasn't terrible considering the quality of most of the clothing and the current state of the thrift economy (which is trash rn tbh). That being said, I saw a good number of garments marked at $45+ "as-Is" with stains, pen marks, rips, and other visible and irreparable damage and that was really off-putting to me. Considering those garments would need to be heavily altered to be wearable or could be used for material only I found it kind of crooked that they were being sold at full price. I had a way better experience shopping at Vintage Vortex later the same day where I didn't see a single damaged garment, not even on their $2 sale rack.

The vintage store I shop at most often, and I live in Portland OR so that’s saying a lot! AWESOME selection at great prices. I always get complimented on the vintage t-shirts I get from The Future!

Nothing in there was under $45 and the jackets were anywhere from $100-125. All clothing is outdated 80’s clothes that only fall under one particular style. It’s really not worth it.

If by vintage you mean your Dad's closet then yes it is vintage, but awful everything."Ouuu look a button up my dad would have worn on Easter in 2005, how radical"

This is, bar none, the best vintage clothing store I've ever been to - and living in Nashville, TN, I've been to A LOT! The clothing is incredibly curated, but you aren't going to pay an arm and a leg for anything. The prices are reasonable for the pieces you find, and there's really a pretty good selection of sizes. Typically I only find super, super small sizes that only a preteen could squeeze their ribcage into & nothing else - definitely not the case here. Another plus - the dressing rooms are spacious with plenty of space to look at how the clothes fit in a full length mirror. The employees were so helpful & friendly, but they never made me feel pressured to buy anything or feel like I was being watched like a hawk. They give you space to look around & find what you like, so this place is definitely introvert approved. So end of long winded review... if you're in Savannah & looking for a great spot to find some cool pieces to add to your wardrobe, don't listen to anyone if they tell you to go anywhere but The Future on Forsyth. In my opinion, this is the only clothing store that exists in Savannah!

Amazing vintage shop owned by a SCAD alum. Fun to shop, great prices, right next to Forsyth park and by making a purchase you support a local business! A definite WIN WIN!
