Very happy with the stay!Welcoming staff and loved the personalized welcome message on the TV screen. Clean rooms, linen, and AC maintained at optimal temperature even before we entered the room - making us feel welcomed.Good breakfast, parking - both complementaryAnother unique thing here that we noticed was that there were no soap and shampoo plastic sachets. This is also an eco-friendly move , and we could use it as per need and not be restricted on the size of the sachets provided . Would definitely recommend it for people visiting Savannah!

First of all, the location does not appear to be safe and per the front desk clerk, the premises are not monitored. We were genuinely concerned our car would not be there in the morning. Also, the entire hotel was dirty from the outside to the elevators and the rooms. The floor in our room was sticky and it was not stocked. We had to request tissues and toilet paper. The batteries in the thermostat were dead and instead of sending someone up to resolve the issue, we were simply handed batteries to fix it ourselves. Not to mention the fact, there is only one ice machine and it was broken...

I stayed here for business in October. Hotel stay was nice and rooms were decent. However, when I checked in they didn’t ask for my ID. This made me feel uneasy.Like other Hilton properties, only pork meat options for breakfast and no alternatives.

Room was clean and neat. Updated furniture and bathroom. Bed was comfy. TV options were good. The breakfast is your standard continental breakfast. Eggs sausage grits bagels muffins cereal and juices. My only complaint is the water in the shower. Seen a couple of other people post about it. Water gets good and hot. You adjust to where you want it and it stays that way 2-3 minutes then slowly turns cold. You turn the water all the way to hot and it slowly warms back up then you have to turn it down to where you had it before. Constantly adjusting. I was on the 2nd floor. May have something to do with it I dunno. Informed the front desk clerk when I checked out. He wrote it down and said the plumber was there today and would get him to look at it. He apologized profusely for it. But other than that great place to stay. Close to the mall and 15 mins from downtown.

Tru Hotel ManagementI wanted to reach out to you to tell you about my experience here at the Savannah Midtown location, since this is the first stop along many on a trip around the nation. Our next stop Auburn, GA before spending a month New Orleans, LA. Imagine how many stays have to be booked for a twelve month adventure through the US and Canada. The hotel is super cute and colorful, super inviting and what we later realized to be maskingly clean. (See Pictures) We went upstairs to our room to find that our room hadn’t been fully serviced, -both rolls of toilet paper had been half-used, -there were a TON of towels and no wash cloths, the shower didn’t seem like it had been cleaned, judging from the stains around the base, -and the toilet had what looked like to be black mold inside and green mold around the flush button.Furthermore, the bed was half made. Whatever the top piece is that feels like a napkin was falling off the entire bed. Then there is something underneath it that I KNOW you don’t wash after every guest and then the sheets. It is so uncomfortable, it’s unbelievable . The room otherwise is very functional with the hooks, mini fridge, desk, etc. When called downstairs for the toilet paper, we waited for at least an hour in middle of us working, in and out of meetings. When we then realized that we also need wash cloths and called down for those, the lady at the front told us that WE would have to come down for it. After calling three times she finally came up, right as I was walking out the door. My girlfriend who had walked by her previously said she wasn’t even at the front desk. She was sitting on the side on her phone. 11/02 7pm ish.I called downstairs to see if there was an extra desk and chair that could be brought up to the room because when I went downstairs to work, the workers were having a loud conversation across the room from each other (front desk and dining) that I couldn’t concentrate nor meet with my clients. We waited for that desk for 3 hours. We called about the desk twice and went downstairs about it as well.Lastly one night we decided to go downstairs with our dog to get some coffee because it was cold. While making coffee, the cup accidentally turned over, spilling hot coffee on my shoe, my hand, the floor and a little splashed on the dog. It was also of course on the counter and down the front of the cabinet. The lady at the front desk (same lady) looked over, didn’t ask if we were ok or if we needed help. She proceeded on her phone while me and my girlfriend cleaned it all up with napkins. Not once were we offered a mop. It’s a shame that the stay couldn’t have been better, as I said, the place is cute and convenient but not with the mold and the weird sheets and poor service. Hopefully this will assist in making some necessary changes to make the stay better for others.--Stefanie Hibbert

My husband and I wanted a pet-friendly hotel. But we had a hard time finding a nice hotel at a decent price because the Expedia app was overpriced and the prices online were crazy. We walked into this hotel and they gave us an EXTREMELY fair price for 2 nights. Especially considering what we get with the room. There is amazing snack/alcohol choices in the lobby. They are pet-friendly with complimentary snacks for the doggos (: they even provide a list of pet friendly restaurants upfront!!! The room was full of clean towels. Clean bedding. AC worked great. Again; I loved the snack options upfront. They have some good ones! Lol not only that but they have an outside seating area, complimentary breakfast (which was good) the front desk workers are nice. And helpful. Housekeeping was very nice and courteous. EVERYTHING here is CLEAN!!! Which I love. The bathroom is very nice. The soap and lotion dispensers in the bathroom are unique and it’s truly the “little things” that matter to me. I love the soap and lotion dispensers! Lol all the furniture is modern. I’m extremely happy with our choice. They even provide board games in the lobby for you to sit and play with your family. They also have a gym!!! Andddd pool table! I could go on and on. 10\10 you will not make a mistake or regret booking here. Do it!!! (:

This hotel was definitely one of the best ! I had previously stayed in a way more expensive hotel and didn’t get half the service there that I got here . The staff was very kind and pleasant ! The rooms were large and comfortable, the sheets and linen smelled amazing ! We had complementary snacks on arrival. We asked for a late check out and was granted that with no problems ! Loved this location and will make it my first go-to when traveling. Will also recommend for my colleagues and family !Rooms: Very spaciousNoteworthy details: Amazing bathroom !

Happy with the stay.Hotel/room: The room was clean, the bed super comfy, the furnishings perfect for NOT unpacking everything, with convenient hooks and hangers. Nice desk area by some outlets. The AC is SUPER loud… but it cooled well.Breakfast was great, lobby is fun and clean, the terrace in back was quiet in the morning. They have a game room in the lobby and it was fun to see it used.Location: very convenient! Close to highway and downtown and shopping. There is a bar across the hotel and it can get rowdy. If you’re too close to the elevators, you’ll hear a lot of noise. And still, my first night, once I fell asleep, was one of the best night sleep I’ve had in a while!Service: Front desk is not as friendly as in other properties I’ve stayed at, but did their job and answered questions, and were polite.Yes. I will stay here again in a month or so when I come back.

The hotel is pleasant offering coffee/ tea 24/7 which is a huge plus. Warm cookies and a goodie bag were awaiting our arrival. My digital key never worked which negates the contactless check in they offer and my physical key kept deactivating during my stay causing me to visit the front desk quite often. The room was tiny and the shower water pressure was meek. But they need was very comfortable as was the room temperature and that’s a huge deal. Water temperature could have been hotter. The breakfast was a great variety and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay again.Rooms: The rooms are on the smaller side. Bed was nice and comfy with decent pillows. The small fridge was a bonus and the control of the A/C worked well.Food & drinks: The breakfast had a variety of hot and cold items. Fresh bagels, fruit and a pancake machine that you could add lots of toppings too. The coffee was fresh and offered 24/7.

Bed were comfortable. The darkening curtain is laughable. The shower was small and gross. And the rooms are tiny. Parking lot is super small too. The only saving grace was the location, beds and pool table. The third floor also smelled soooooo bad the entire time due to throw up sheets/towels from another room outside in the hall. When reported to third shift male, he never went to retrieve them and left it heating up the stinch. It was also super loud and no one would handle quieting the other guests.

One of the smoothest experiences for checking in and checking out. Great location; close to tons of stores and restaurants. Well-lit parking lot. Clean facilities; the elevators always smelled fresh. Clean room. Gotta love breakfast that's included. I liked that the board by the elevators highlighted local spots for food and entertainment.

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Always greeting us with a smile and making sure we were enjoying our stay. Rooms include large bottles of body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, & lotion. Not the cheap terrible smelling kind like at most hotels. These products are better compared to herbal essence and all of them smell amazing. The breakfast bar is open till 10am and is ultra kid friendly. Wave your hand by the sensor on the machine and pancakes roll out onto your plate. Of course our kids were so excited to make their own pancakes and then top them with whatever topping they wanted. They offer whip crème, M&Ms, almonds, chocolate chips, cranberries, Etc. They also offer scrambled eggs and various other hot dishes that change each day. I honestly would recommend staying outside of the downtown area as the night crowd in Savannah is not kid friendly and has trashed even the nicest hotels located in the downtown area. Unfortunately, we know first hand. We ended up making a last minute booking with Tru by Hilton which was very easy to do and literally found our new favorite hotel. Tru’s parking lot was huge, free, and well lit. Hotel is not within walking distance of the Historic Downtown area, but it is only a short drive away. The public parking garages located in the historic district cost between $9- $15 for 2-8 hours and are within a short walking distance to the shopping area along the water. Overall Tru by Hilton is a fantastic hotel and I highly recommend you stay here.Safety: Hotel is located in a safe, clean area and has a nice shopping area close by.

The most noisy hotel I've ever stayed in! Doors slamming all night, car alarms going off and on, road traffic noise kept us up almost all night. Mattresses on the beds are extra firm, like sleeping on rocks. The shower sprays in all different directions and keeps going from hot to cold to lukewarm then back to hot. The thermostat in our room had two settings - ice cold or bloody hot. Housekeeping doesn't speak a word of English! This used to be a nice, quiet hotel, but now it sucks. Won't stay here ever again!!
