Everyone from the front office staff, to the tech Kassandra and on to Dr. Woods made us feel welcome and cared for from the moment we stepped in the practice. They listened to all of our concerns, answered all our questions, and gave a thorough evaluation of my greyhound, Boaz, with recommendations for next steps. They are very willing to work with our home vet and communicate with us so that we can be on the same page helping Boaz to get better. We were sent notes of our visit with clear instructions of what to do next and the plan of action. I appreciate the concern and follow up after our visit as well. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Woods! Thank you for the great care we received while there!”

“Dr. Pinto and the entire staff are fabulous! I could not have asked for any thing any better and left with peace knowing Tater was in such good care while in surgery. The entire staff smiled, talked to Tater and I felt like I'd been there 100 times but in fact this was my first time stepping foot in his office. “After receiving the results from an ultrasound/biopsy performed at another veterinary office, we were referred to this oncology team. They were able to get our sweet Munchkin in as quickly as possible, & from our very first visit, we knew he was in caring & knowledgeable hands.
They took the time to explain everything to us in detail, answered every question we had, & made sure we understood his diagnosis (GI Lymphoma - high grade cell), treatment options, & the possible outcomes. We decided to begin with the first chemotherapy treatment recommended, & Munchkin went through several rounds. Sadly, after some time, it became clear that it was no longer working. We then tried a different chemotherapy, followed by another, always hoping we could give our boy more time.
Eventually, we reached the point where we knew the most loving thing we could do was simply let things be, keep our sweet baby as comfortable as possible & return to the care of his primary veterinarian.
Throughout this entire journey, this team (Dr. Daters, Frank at the front & many vet techs) showed us nothing but compassion, patience, &
understanding.
They worked with us to get Munk to his appointments, even though we lived a little farther away. They worked around work schedules & the emergency veterinary team within the same building cared for him until their staff could get there when we had to drop him off before their office opened.
We will never be able to put into words how grateful we are. Your knowledge, compassion, patience, & willingness to work with us meant more than you will ever know.

“I could not be happier with my experiences with Central Animal Hospital. Heartbreakingly, my first visit was to say goodbye to my soul cat Rocky, but I was so thankful for the compassion & care we received during such a difficult time. All the staff were outstanding and kind. They made me the most perfect paw print & gave me a heartfelt card (even saving it for an extended period while I built up the strength to come get it). Now, a few months later I returned with my sweet boy Simba, and again they have blown me away. Both the technician and doctor were exceptionally friendly, informative, and caring. “Dr. Mulvey and his team are the BEST. For over 6 years we took our boys to him. Within 4 months we have lost both of them due aggressive cancer and old age. I felt very comfortable with the treatment they were given and always liked that he would explain every finding to us. It has been the hardest start to this year losing them but I felt I needed to give credit to this office for always being there for us. Thank you for caring. Receiving the card in the mail with their paw and nose prints meant a lot to us.”

“A Wonderful Veterinary Experience!

What a wonderful vet! My cat was having some unexpected litter box issues, which was extremely concerning. My regular vet was completely booked, and I was starting to panic because I really didn’t want to have to go to an emergency vet and spend a fortune.

I called Berwick, and from the very beginning, everyone was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. They were able to get my cat in right away and performed all the necessary tests to make sure she received the correct treatment. As it turned out, what I initially thought was wrong was actually something completely different, and they were able to identify and address the issue quickly.

You can genuinely tell that they care about their patients and their owners, and it truly shows. Dr. Roemer was absolutely amazing! She was so patient, answered all of my questions, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire visit.

I’m so grateful for the wonderful care my cat received and will definitely be making Berwick my go-to vet from now on. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate veterinary team!”

“I was so upset having to put my 16 year old baby to sleep. She was at the end of her life and it was time. Everyone was so compassionate from the lady I spoke to on the phone last week to get the information about the process, and Kim at the front desk who greeted me today, Sarah the vet tech was exceptional, and Dr. Compton. He and Sarah took such good care of my girl, they were so gentle the whole time. I was given plenty of time to grieve and didn't feel rushed. Sarah even bought her out to me. She put her in a nice box. They treated her with dignity. She made a paw print impression for me and is going to mail it to me when it dries. I am just overwhelmed at the kindness and respect of the veterinary staff here.”

“Very wonderful place, my kitten Pecan was spayed here today, and they took great care of her, and were very informative and listened to everything I told them about her. Pecan is our 4th cat, and our 3rd kitten in the span of 9 months. Old two other kittens are about 10.5 months old, also found outside after feeding their mom while pregnant, we saved them and said we were done, no more cats. Then Pecan came along as a tiny baby to our house, and we planned on fostering, then finding her a home once she was bigger and healthier, and vetted. And then we fell so in love with her, and she did so well with our other cats, we couldn’t let her go. We couldn’t afford to spay a 4th cat at our primary vet, it just wasn’t feasible and with her being such a surprise, it wasn’t possible. She was being sponsored by a rescue but unfortunately she went into heat earlier than anticipated, and I couldn’t watch her be uncomfortable and also didn’t want to risk her health having her go in and out of heat for months waiting on the place that the rescue sponsors through. I had to act fast. I called National Spay Alliance and they responded QUICKLY, were even able to get her in that same day, it just didn’t work for us unfortunately. But they got her in within days, we could afford their costs, and I couldn’t recommend them more! You can feel the love the staff has for these animals, especially the sweet girl at reception upon pick up. I especially appreciate that if a pet is found with fleas they’re automatically given a Capstar to avoid sending other pets home with fleas, that was huge for me because the last thing I wanted was fleas brought home. Truly cannot recommend them more. Thank you all so much!”

“204 Animal Hospital hands down is the best vet office i’ve experienced being a pet owner. Candise was very quick getting my Chloe in for an appointment due to her being sick & even called me when they had an early appointment available. Her attention to urgency is greatly
appreciated. Dr. Kicklighter & his tech (I didn’t catch her name) were very gentle & swift with my Chloe not only did he explain everything going on he expressed to importance of yearly vaccinations while staying very sensitive to our financial situation. While the Dr was preparing medication for my Chloe the vet tech clip her nails without even charging for a nail trim. She was very calm and sweet while making sure my Chloe was comfortable. Dr Kicklighter also sent medication home for my other cat Genevieve to ensure the viral infection gets cleared up the best way possible. Genevieve also sees this Dr. Between the pricing, care, attention to detail, & urgency I couldn’t ask for a better office to treat my babies. Dr Kicklighter has gained 3 new(ish) furry clients to take care for and we will back very soon for our yearlys.

“I wanted to really emphasize and thank the team for their continuous help with feral populations. I’ve taken a handful of cats from my neighborhood to get TNR’d, some of which have had other unrelated injuries that needed attention. There’s only a few vets that will treat a feral cat (believe me, I’ve checked), and zero other locations that will do it for free on top of neutering and vaccinations. Sure, the communication can be difficult on the phone and they’re unfortunately always slogged with patients, but it’s a charity that doesn’t get enough thanks for the major impact it has on our feral communities. I can at least attest that they have contributed to the health and wellness of several cats in my neighborhood that otherwise be turned away by everyone else.
