I told them the alternator or the oil pump was bad, because I had no oil pressure after filling it. They claimed they checked the oil pump and alternator and both were working. $1800 repair later, I get a phone call to pick it up. Drives less than half a mile. Also charged to tow it and then didnt offer to tow it back when they failed to test drive it and see if it was safe. Thankfully, a kind salesman informed me of Volvo's free towing help line that covers up to 25 miles for free. That would have been nice to know, before I had it towed to them. So, on top of not fixing it, they also have someone who is dishonest and collects a spiff for every person that doesnt know about the towing service. 1/5 do not recommend owning a Volvo in the greater Savannah area.

Sales Director (wish I would’ve grabbed his name) was extremely rude and dishonest. I do not recommend doing business with this location. Do your self a favor and go elsewhere. That’s what we did and our experience was excellent!!

Had to have a tire repaired. Only problem was that they stay booked up. Once there, however, they were fast. Nice employees.

The sales experience went smoothly which was pleasant surprise. The sales team provided a great walk through and answered all of my questions. The dealership facility is in poor repair and definitely does not look like or provide the luxury dealership feel. Even a coat of paint and replacing the missing ceiling tiles would be an improvement.Service..oh my! What a disappointment. I have worked in a maintenance dealership environment for many years so I feel that I have a good idea of how things work. The staff is unprofessional to say the least. The gentleman who I would guess is the service writer, was dismissive of my requests and questions. He could not or would not provide a detailed list of what was accomplished during the first service. He stated, "We check everything". He refused to do my requested tire rotation or the software updates that the owners manual and Volvo app said were required. He said that, " software updates kill cars". Eventually the Field Rep ended up on the phone and explained to the staff that software updates should be done at every service while in warranty. I am astonished that these jokers didn't know that. I ended up taking my car to Discount Tire to have the rotation completed.Pass on this dealership for service work!!

Volvo Cars Savannah is an extremely unprofessional operation. I purchased my XC90 from them about 3 years ago. I paid extra for an additional volvo certified extended warranty that the salesperson assured me would make repairs at savannah volvo easy and seamless. A few weeks ago I brought my car to get serviced as my AC was not working. When I first showed up they told me that there was an error in their system and they didn't even have me down for an appointment, but they would still try to get to it the next day. They never called me back with a status update that next day, I had to call them. My car was not going to be ready until the next day. Additionally, they told me that they could not find my warranty, the repair was going to be $3500, and even if they could find my warranty they didn't have time in the next 2 months to repair my car and I should just take it to Charleston or Jacksonville. They offered to solution to help me and charged me $150 for adding coolant to my car which they did not ask if I wanted even though they said it would "probably just leak out" because of the ultimate issue with the AC. After many phone calls they finally admitted the warranty not showing up was an error on their end (Walter was the only helpful individual throughout this entire process). They still offered me no remedy of assistance and told me they couldn't fix my car until after my warranty expired. I took the car to Charleston and had an appointment to get it repaired within 1 week, the car was done same day, and the charge was interestingly $1,000 less than the same exact repair at Savannah Volvo. They accepted my warranty without issue and were helpful, kind, and prompt. I called Savannah volvo and asked for the owner to rectify this situation in some way - they would not. Charleston volvo told us it was very common for savannah customers to take their cars to Charleston. Savannah volvo is not a trustworthy business and they do not care about delivering on the promises they make you when they sell you the car. They operate like a used car dealership. When I buy my next volvo I will absolutely make the trip to Charleston to do so - be very careful with this business - they are dishonest and do not prioritize the customer.

We recently purchased a new Volvo EV; a C40. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience especially with our sales rep, Michael Nelgrove. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful without being intrusive or overly aggressive; just a very nice experience. And his responsiveness in the first few days after the purchase was also exemplary. Being newbies in the EV world we had several very basic questions; he was patient with us and always either answered our calls directly or called back quickly if he was busy when we called.Oh, and we love the car, also!

Mike N was very professional and quite helpful during the entire transaction. He patiently explained the many features of the car and followed up with answers to my questions. I have already referred him to my friends.

They took such great care of me AND my car in service, the Service Manager, Greg, made sure to look into all my concerns AND took the time to show me how to work some things I still didn't know how to do. They even did a complementary detail!! I will DEFINITELY make the hour drive from here on out, it's so worth it

Stealership! Took a vantage of my elderly mother. Almost $900 for two sets of brake pads rotors as well as an oil change. I called three other shops around this dealership as well as three shops around her house. The average price for the service above is $507.00. She went to the dealership on the impression that they would be professional and trust worthy. Anything but trust worthy. Do not go here.

Mike Nelgrove was excellent with his customer service - even coming to my house to bring my new Volvo to me! I’m very impressed with Volvo Savannah.

The service department of any car dealership I’ve experienced is the absolute BEST. The people are kind, so helpful, speedy, and communicative. Truly cannot advocate for the service department enough. They go above & beyond.

Was able to secure my new XC60 here. I worked with Joseph over a couple months and I've got to say it was a very stress free experience. He takes the time to communicate and inform on the entire process and was just an absolute pleasure to work with. It took a while to actually get my car at no failt of the dealship but it was worth the wait. It is a quality car. The couple times I've called or stopped by for something, the staff is very nice and accommodateing.

I ordered my 2023 XC90 with Joseph Van Gorp and the process could not have been smoother. He kept me updated, and the dealership was great all around. Joseph and Walter, the manager, they were very professional and responsive to my questions. I also got my car earlier than anticipated which was a nice surprise. Will hands down make future purchases through them.

Michael Nelgrove made the process of buying our new 2023 XC40 Recharge EV incredibly easy, stress free, and truly a great experience. This was honestly the best Volvo, and frankly any car, buying experience we have ever had.Now about the car itself, we were looking at an EV as our next car, but we didn't feel comfortable with the quality and safety standards of some of the other brands. That's where Volvo came in, we knew an EV Volvo would be the perfect marriage. We initially test drove a C-40 (essentially an XC40 with the rear of the car swooped down more) and fell in love with it but ultimately went with the XC40 Recharge partly because of a little more trunk space and because the XC40 would arrive first. We have had the car for about a month and a half now and we absolutely LOVE it. This car and EVs in general are definitely the future and let me tell you, it is going to be a fun future. My wife and I both have a smile on our face when we drive this car, it is a pleasure to drive, incredibly fast when you want it to be, dead silent to the point that all you hear is the wind passing the car and the cost savings vs. gas is awesome. The only problem with this car is, I no longer want to drive non EVs, there is that big of a difference, which is why I'm so excited for the future of cars. Also, the convenience of charging at home after work once a week is great. Can't thank Michael Nelgrove enough for helping us get this car and if anyone is looking to get a Volvo and especially an EV, give Mike a call!
