Rude staff at the pharmacy. Just called to check the status of a prescription transfer and the lady that answered the phone couldn’t be bothered to check if the transfer went through.

The first day of our honeymoon trip to Tybee Island, my husband had a bicycle accident and shattered his right clavicle. The pharmacist working on September 18th was so wonderfully kind and helpful, she deserves every positive accolade I could write. In a day full of unpleasant circumstances and sub standard hospital care, she was our shining star. I can't say thank you enough.

0/10 recommend. On the Walgreens app I ordered a new prescription (with TWO) refills "available" on the app, I call in a week advance and they don't have it. I was first told they did have it BUT "it was put in the wrong location " (it was not). I was told it would take 15 minutes to fill. I get a call 10 minutes later that I'm "out of refills" (despite what the app said originally) and that I'd have to waive my right on insurance with a "one time forgiveness policy". I waited an hour for my "one time refill" and after that I get on the app and now- all of a sudden- the app says I have ZERO prescriptions. Even thought 20 minute ago it said I have multiple refills on my medication.

We stopped in at Walgreen's yesterday so my boyfriend could buy medication for his cold. The Pharmacist, Karissa was wonderful. She went with him to the Cold Remedy aisle and helped him pick the best medication for his symptoms. We thank her for her expertise and for the time she spent with us in the middle of her very busy day.

TLDR; Avoid this store. They don't even understand their own policies. Apparently the managers and clerks don't know their own policies on selling over the counter medications to persons 18 and older. Do yourself a favor and (drive around the corner) to Publix or a minute down the road to Kroger where they 1. Actually understand the law in Georgia and 2. Won't insult your intelligence when you question whether or not you need to be 21 to buy an antihistamine. Hopefully after spending 20m on the phone with their corporate office and hearing their actual policy the staff will receive some education.

Five stars to the really nice lady behind the counter at the pharmacy who was trying to help me out and zero stars for the pharmacist that was trying to get out because she was trying to close. Told me to come back tomorrow. Would’ve taken another whole minute out of her time. Unreal how rude some people can be.
