Sapelo Hammock is a semi-private golf course located in Shellman Bluff, Georgia. With over 2 miles of marsh front golf, Sapelo Hammock offers beautifully challenging holes for all players. Our Cafe is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm and offers the "Best Burger on the Bluff". Our bar is open daily from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm during season and we have a wide variety of beverages to choose from. Our driving range is a wonderful space to work on your game. We offer a full size range, short game area and putting green to hone your skills.Sapelo Hammock is the centerpiece of the Shellman Bluff Community.
Course was in good condition and the greens were in fantastic shape. Challenging course. Late lunch at the clubhouse hit the spot as well. Hour drive from Savannah but well worth it. I'm coming back.

Improvements on the tee boxes look great! Noticed a lot of landscaping upgrades since the last time I visited. Will definitely be back.

We were in from out of town and had never played at this course before. Everything was perfect. The staff was super courteous and helpful. One of the owners even welcomed us, introduced himself and gave us some helpful tips about the course. The course was challenging but fun. We enjoyed the driving range afterward... read full comment
