What a great music store, the place holds up to its name and is inexpensive. Also the people who work there are very nice, Carter helped me find what I needed and gave me his knowledge and tips for improving the sound of my guitar definitely will shop here again.

So helpful! My gear arrive quickly, safely, and was setup beautifully! They even threw in a gig bag even though the bass didn’t come with one. Top tier service!

Absolutely a "hidden" gem filled with musical instruments of all types, plus a friendly and knowledgeable staff. The only downside for me was trying to get to the parking lot from South Cobb rather than Windy Hill.

I've been shopping here since I moved to Georgia in 95. I love this small family owned business and would much rather spend money here than Guitar Center.

They didn’t have the speakers we were hunting for, but Carter was friendly, helpful and professional!

Bought a guitar from here the other day their prices are on par with eBay but still a great store. Employees are always very friendly and more than willing to help customers out.

White Salesman is an douche that thinks you know nothing because you are trying to shop with them. In the future I wouldn't buy a set of strings from them if they were half half price BOGO. Overpriced on top of that.

One great place. Never visited there but bought a 2021 Epiphone Les Paul Standard Limited Edition 60's Transparent Blue Quilt Top on line. This was best deal in USA. Quickest shipping ever like an hour later was on it way to Pennsylvania. Bought for 33rd anniversary present from wife. So calling it "33". I was 33 when we got married. So fits. She was just scammed on Facebook for Free..."Giving for Free". A 2004 Gibson Les Paul Limited Edition Standard. 41 of 275. (3000.00 guitar 2021 from reverb)She paid shipping, tax, and insurance. Then they wanted 200.00 more to change the limited edition title to her legal name.(no such thing... Guitar title transfer?) Stopped there. Thank goodness. Then reported to bank. Even had the nerve to send fake return receipt. Bank is working on getting her money back. (Nope scammer scammed the right away so could never get it back....)She wanted to surprise me with New Guitar but got scammed. So I saw this one. Same cost as free one's scammed lose when totaled. And she doesn't know we lost that money so... Also Limited Edition. But Rare Quilt Top. Fancy headstock mother of pearl Epiphone logo. Bought it to surprise her and make her feel a little better. It got here the day before anniversary. She was napping. So hide from her till tomorrow. So this is one great place. Daily updated. Packed with care and concern. And even a neck box. And trash bag for packing material when done. Way beautiful guitar. Have case, stand and strap on their way. Probably be Christmas presents.(early). So this is one great place. Love the logo. Looks like little chicken baby playing bass. "CHEEP CHEEP"! If baby rooster? I am also born the year of the Rooster. 1957. And "33" was made in July. My birthday is in July. Meant to be? So everything has come together in our home thanks to these kind folks down there in Georgia. Glad to have crossed their path. I even added my guitar to there logo. Then also made small guitar and gave to Fog Horn Leghorn. Just went to town. Will add logo to guitar case. Happy 33rd Anniversary to us. Many thanks to them.

I've been dealing with the crew at DirtCheep literally for decades on and off. They are not a big box store now but carry all the essentials and keep an eclectic mix of new and used gear. (Including band instruments and pro audio)They are happy to trade and we generally always work out a deal fair for both of us. And that's half the fun!If I need a suggestion their combined decades of experience as a family-owned business is always spot on. And unlike the corporate big box stores, every time you go in there you'll see the same crew. Steve, Mark, Aldo and Aaron always will treat you right. They'll know you by name, keep a list of things you're interested in and it's just a top notch experience.

I bought a violin from here today and I recieved top tier service! Steve went out of his way to work with me, he even stayed a little late after business hours to wait on me to pick up my violin even though he didn't have to. I recommend going here if you want to trade in or buy any of their gear. Everyone is very knowledgeable and super friendly!

The essentials like guitar strings, etc are always priced attractively. Most of the time similarly priced as Amazon or GC so you can grab them the same day and support a local family-owned business at the same time.
