My experience is from October 30th. I was moving things from TN to GA. My movers were having some time delays and would possibly miss the 9pm access deadline. I called several times and I believe I left at least one message about the situation. I didn't get any response back, no voicemail or anything. I even drove up to actual location within business hours, as stated on their website, and the office was closed. And it looked like it had been closed because there were delivery stickers on the door. There weren't even any office hours on entrance windows.
So, my movers got in very late and I had to put all my things in my basement and garage. It was so much chaos that I didn't think to cancel the unit until the next day. Now, a young lady did call after that and I told her what happened. She very apologetic and said that Corporate would be sending us a refund less the setup fee. Now, I setup for autopay and payment came out on November 1st. That did get refunded, which was a very small amount.
As of today, I checked my charge card and I still haven't gotten more of a refund not even for a lock that I never used. So, I called customer service and the representative told me that I wouldn't be getting any other refund because I didn't cancel on the same day. I told her I tried calling the office# several times that day but never got any response back and that I visted the office location BEFORE the stated closing hours per the website but it was closed. She did say she would check the phone logs to see a record of my calls and that she would send an email to location about refunding my lock purchase. But, a couple of times that I called the office the call didn't go through.
Anyway, I am not sure how is going to turn out but just wanted to make ppl aware.

Charissa is AMAZING! There was an error in my online booking and I didn’t have the correct unit size or location! Customer service on the phone wasn’t helpful at all and lord and behold, she showed up from her rounds and saved the day and my sanity!!!! THANK YOU!

Charissa and Veronica was spectacular!!! They made an anxious move more pleasant than I can ever imagine. I was nervous, bc all I had was identification... they reassured me, gave me the info I needed I. Less than 3 minutes and even watched my turtle in her tank in the AC while I loaded my truck (1hour) THATS ABP E AND BEYOND! AND RELIEVIBG ME OF AN ALREADY STRESSFUL TASK . . Had an exceptional experience with Public Storage, thanks to Charissa's outstanding service. She followed up with me consistently during the month before I rented the storage unit, ensuring I had all the information I needed. Charissa even went above and beyond by assisting me on her day off. Her dedication truly earned my visit. The overall experience at this Public Storage location was phenomenal. I was so impressed that I referred my mom, and she also rented a storage unit here. Highly recommend!
