The overall experience at the apartments is awesome but the trash is ridiculous.. making the apartments look really unkept..

I'm known by HookedonsweetsAustin, because I do home baking. But my name is ms Gloria. I've lived here 12 or 13 years now and gone through at least 4 different property managers. This is a rather large property that needs to have at least 2-3 good strong maintenance staff, in stead of running one down til they get sick and want to quit!! It is a lot of work, not for the faint of heart!!!
All in all, this is a good place to live. I'm satisfied as long as the rent doesn't get much higher!!
My birthday is next month, I'll be 76 years young as long as the lord bless me to keep living!!

I was a resident here for 6 years, back when rent was reasonable, but they have pretty much priced everyone out for whatever reason. It's certainly not because of upgraded amenities. My parents have lived here for 16 years or more and have never gotten an upgrade other than when their appliances went out. Almost all the apartments have new kitchen cabinets and countertops, but my parents still have old 1990s fixtures and carpeting that is becoming threadbare. Also, the maintenance staff does not take care of the pool, so the bottom is covered with a green layer of algae and the surface of the water has a layer of film on it because they don't run the filtration pump. Also, they do not clean the gutters or maintain the back sides of the buildings, so the gutters are clogged and constantly overflow and wash down onto the sidewalks causing silt buildup that my 83-year-old mother has slipped on a few times. I've brought it to the attention of the maintenance guys a few times and nothing has ever been done about it, so I guess we're just going to wait for her to slip and fall and break a hip. I've already talked to an attorney about it, so it's just a matter of time. I've got everything documented. Oh, and the dumpster is broken down again for the fifth time this year. How westdale management can justify charging what they charge for rent at this apartment complex is beyond belief. With the condition of the apartments and the lack of maintenance these one-bedroom apartments should be about $500 or $600 a month.... Not $1400

To all Future Residents: I have attempted since FEB.2025 to get my name removed from a lease I had secured with my ex. Even going as far to contact the EVP of the company and then was sent a generic form with wrong information and nothing from the office regarding signature or even names. It looked TOTALLY FAKE. Their REFUSAL to honor what IS LEGAL is daunting and nothing I pray anyone else goes through. Do NOT rent from this location ever!

Had a tour today and I like that it's not a over welming complex the young lady that gave the tour was very nice.The only thing I don't like is that the bedroom is very small will not be suitable for a king size bed. Honestly for the price I might move in for at least a year, Thanks Oakley Run.

As a two year tenant, I am very disappointed in this complex. I moved in during a time where rent was crazy everywhere, and even though almost $1400 for an 800 sq ft 1 bedroom was crazy, it was what it was. I have had multiple issues with the ancient HVAC system my unit has, and even had flooding due to a bursted pipe by maintenance. Also, if your neighbor has roaches then you will too! Fast forward to this year, and my same floor plan is now going for $1100 to the $1200s. My renewal is $1380, which again is ridiculous. I’ve asked twice for a rent decrease and the leasing office will not budge. How would you feel knowing that newer tenants are paying $100 - $200 LESS THAN you for the exact same amount of space? It’s extremely disappointing to know that Oakley Run has no desire to keep good tenants in place. With a possible recession on the horizon, I would highly suggest spending your money somewhere else. I have two stars because it’s quiet out here, but that’s where it ends.

I have live at this complex for several
Years and I just had a plumbing issue with my kitchen sink and a submitted a emergency work order repair and it was expedited with out issues I thank the staff for such a rapid response and issue was taken care of. Thank you for your service.

Oakley Run Apartments is a great place to live! I've lived here many years and have found that the management and maintenance staff go above and beyond to take care of the residents. Looking for HOME, Oakley Run is the right choice!!

Would not recommend…they took my app fee and did not process the application. Jackie and Oscar in the leasing office does a horrible job with communicating with potential tenants.

I've been living in Oakley run Apartments for over over 10 years I moved away two years later I moved right back over here they really keep the property clean it's very quiet and clean even though there's children very respectable they make sure everything is fixed if they can't fix it they will replace it I love living over here in the neighborhood is very family friendly

I had my eye out on this apartment complex for quite some time. I’ve lived in the Smyrna area and wanted to stay here. One bedrooms are really hard to come by. I’m so glad that I was able to get one. For the amenities and the upgrades and the location, the price isnt terrible. The space is very nice. Everyone has been super helpful and friendly. James in maintenance and Carlos, the leasing assistant manager have been wonderful. I would recommend this complex and area to anyone.
