Stepped into Ross Dress for Less today and was looking for the “Welcome to Ross” greeting I always get when entering the store. Unfortunately, that’s was the only thing keeping this store from getting 5 stars! Everything was what I expected from finding name brand clothing, shoes, and accessories was on point! Orginally went to shop for a phone charger, however, ending up buying other items because the selection was Good! Store was clean, convenient to locate, easy parking, plenty of staff to take of your needs… At checkout was agent by the name Charlene who checked me out. At first she it was just the regular customer service routine, but after a few back and forth exchanges. I found her to be pleasant, amusing, and fun… Ross you are lucky to have her as one your associates. Keep up the good work! Will come back soon!

This will be my last time ever shopping inside of the Ross store in Smyrna on Cobb Pkwy.
The sales Associates and the managers were very rude. I went to return merchandise and observed the staff being rude to another very nice person. I am angry that the store already gives Good Will material with a very high price tag! Then to be treated rudely! 0 stars for this Ross.
Matter of fact CLOSE THIS STORE IMMEDIATELY!

Horrible customer service associates and management as well as the store is filthy with trash in the aisle. The associates are on the phones whilst stocking and if that’s not bad enough it seems like shopping on the clock is also permitted so you will not get any assistance if needed. The location is definitely in need of retraining or new employees who understand the only reason why the store is open is due to consumers. If you know better you do better!

Workers are overworked underpaid and take it out on the customers. I went to go try on clothes and the lady did not acknowledge me standing there. The cashier was rude as well. The store has junk everywhere and unorganized and greatly overstocked . Def won’t be back

I had an horrible experience at this store. The young lady who was ringing the customers up had a foul attitude. I asked a simple question " could you call someone else to help you ring up the line?" she went off on me. Purposely didn't call anyone to help. I kindly went to find a manager. Once the manager arrived she started disrespecting the manager. The manager simply came to help get the line down. As the manager rang up the next customer she continued to disrespect me. My husband interjected and said that was enough. We had by that time endure over ten minutes of name calling and being cursed out. The manager asked her to calm down and to stop cursing several times. For the life of me i don't see why she would get so angry. Im sure she's not getting paid by the number of people she rings up. When it was all said and done the manager rang my husband up. Over 100 dollars worth of merchandise. The manager did apologize but i really feel bad that young lady had no respect for herself, the customers in the line after us nor her supervisor. No way she should have felt comfortable to threaten people and curse that many times in front of the mangerial staff.

Today, I experienced the most unpleasant customer service from a woman who claimed to be the manager of the store. I was in the store today, 5/29/24, shopping for a luggage bag. I was stuck between two options: one had a price tag, the other one did not.
I asked this woman (brown skin with dreads) if she could price the one that did not have a price tag. I was very pleasant in tone and was very patient with her. However, she insisted on being very rude and forthcoming. I assume she believed I was trying to get some sort of bargain deal. I was not dressed in my normal business attire as I was off of work and headed to the gym. I felt targeted and unfairly treated by this woman, to the point where I asked her to send someone else to help me because she was being overly aggressive.
I presented my concerns to another manager; however, he didn’t address her for her actions. I was refused the right to have the number for the corporate office because it’s against store policy. I will be escalating this issue to the corporate office now that I know the store number is 1019. Being a black man in America is already hard enough than to be consistently profiled by my OWN PEOPLE!!
This was very unsettling and upsetting!
