We own Willingham's Seasonings and Sauces and Vickery Hardware carries our products. They do a great job everyday representing us. Thomas has been buying our products for years and brought us into a great relationship with Vickery! Go there for all your hardware needs, they will help you find anything for any project that you are working on!!

The people at the cash register were nice. The folks throughout the store, not so much. The store seemed newer. The people at the front were extremely busy but friendly, and they also had to answer the phones. There was plenty of parking. This store seems to cater to dog owners. They offer grooming. The pet line was wrapped throughout the store. Imagine the smell for people with allergies.

Staff is so friendly and welcoming. I don't feel like I need to shop at the Box stores because Ace Vickery always has what I need. Professionals are very respectful and will think through a problem with you.

I recently visited Vickery’s Hardware just as they were closing at 6 PM, hoping to quickly purchase a single screw. While I understand the importance of store hours, I was surprised by the response from the employees when I attempted to enter. Although customers were still exiting, I was met with a firm dismissal from a young employee, followed by curt reminders from two cashiers.
I value small businesses and appreciate good customer service, especially when flexibility can create goodwill and foster loyalty. While policies exist for a reason, a little adaptability—like allowing a quick transaction at closing—can go a long way in building strong community ties. I hope the owner considers providing additional training on customer service and the bigger picture of business success.
Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed, and for now, I won’t be returning. That said, I do believe that with attention to service and thoughtful hiring, this store could enhance its reputation and better serve loyal customers.
