First time here at this location and visiting this chain in a few years as it is rare to see them anymore. This was exactly what I remembered and was an excellent visit. I found some really good deals and the staff member was very nice. Overall highly recommend a visit!

My ratings of stars for this particular Hallmark store is not about my customer experience, but about the products that the store holds. I will now share my experience as a customer and human being at this location. I was extremely excited to find this location in a shopping plaza I often frequent, as a Hallmark member and lover of their products. The Stone mountain store that I had frequented for over 10 years had closed. I had a handful of Christmas gnomes that I was excited to find in the names of my children and family members. An associate walks up to me and takes the gnomes out of my hands and shares that she’s going to put them on the counter in the front so that I can continue shopping. I thought this is great and I continue to my shopping. As I was making my way to the front to conclude my purchases of items that I purchased for my mother, who just came out of the hospital, and for my son who was going through a very trying time, I heard the same associate tell another associate how she took the things out of my hand and brought them to the front counter because I was a black woman with a big bag, and they laughed. She continued to say you know how they are with big bags. I took a moment to first, pray for God to give me strength, not to snap, as it would’ve been my go to, but I did not want to give them their stereotypical thinking of an angry black woman. I made my way to the counter, where this associate greeted me with kindness asked me if I found everything I was looking for, offered other items and looked up my membership ID information. I had to continue to pray in spirit for God to give me humility as the person that I am and as well as a diversity equality and inclusion manager and champion for my trillion dollar company, to continue to just be humble in that moment. In the past I have been known to fiercely speak my experience if I ever felt any racial profiling to the associate and any members of management immediately! I post this in hopes that not only the associate whose name I will not share, but her register ID is 312 as well as the owner Benas, who is a minority owner, takes this experience and trains her associates in diversity and inclusion, professionalism, and engagement! I will not frequent the store ever again, but I will continue to be a supporter of hallmark stores and hallmark products as a very appreciative Hallmark member.

I went in to pick up an online order ahead of when it was ready because I needed it quicker. I went in and let Detra know I didn’t need to do curbside, and that I was just picking it up directly. Lucy, another employee, interrupted to tell me that I was out of luck and the order would be cancelled and out of stock. Then, I tried to explain, and she rolled her eyes at me. Lucy was extremely rude and huffed to the back of the store, telling Detra, not me, that she would see if she could find one. I saw what I needed on a nearby wall, cancelled my online order, grabbed it, and paid with a very pleasant cashier. Why Lucy couldn’t show kindness and lied about it being our of stock is beyond me. I’ve worked retail during the holidays, and I know there are a lot of unkind customers, but there’s no reason to start an interaction with rudeness. Hopefully Detra and Lucy show more kindness to you than they did to me, and I’ll choose another Hallmark next time.

The employees in this store are always rude and condescending. I stopped in today out of convenience since I only needed to pick up one card. Going forward, I will drive any excess amount to any other Hallmark and will never step foot in this store again. I thought after my 2 yr avoidance of going to this store, things would change but nothing has changed at all.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Half the items that say in stock online show out of stock at checkout. Then if you do manage to find anything in stock, the store just cancels it at the end of the three hours they state it will be ready in. Completely worthless and a waste of time.

I was searching the Hallmark website for a sentimental gift for my wife. Online ordering was unavailable due to low stock. Hundreds of stores throughout the Southeastern US were all out when I finally found what I was looking for at Bena's Hallmark. I tried to order through the website, but it wouldn't allow shipping through a store. After several calls to both the store and customer service, the owner decided to accept this order as an in store purchase even though I live several hours away and ship it himself. He even ensured that I received the gift in time for Christmas. Thank you so much!

Always nice and very helpful service. I went in for a card and a gift has ive done on several occasions. The sales associates are always available and gives very good and reliable suggestions. They have very nice gifts for any occasion and reasonable price points. I love shopping here.❤️
