Do not buy anything from GameStop! They will trick you with warranties and returns!!!!
I bought 2 brand new PS5 controller in June 2023 from GameStop and bought the 2 year warranty. The controllers no longer work (May 2024) and I took them to Snellville and the guy said he can give me the refurbished controllers. I have my receipt and warranty and he said the new policy that went into effect in January 2024 is the new policy and the one I bought for 2 new controllers is void. If you google the warranty, you can see how tons of people got ripped off.

Make sure to do your own research beforehand. I did this before coming to this GameStop location, and it helped a lot. I was selling my Switch and looking to purchase a Steam Deck. The employee told me to go to the Mall of Georgia to handle it since they had them there. I had already found one at another location that could deliver the same day. I just came here to get the trade-in credit. When I said I would just get the credit and go ahead and sell the Switch, he still said to go to the Mall of Georgia and that the other location would just decline my order. In my opinion, the employee, I believe his name is Ross, seemed unwilling to process the trade. I then called the other GameStop location because I felt misled, and they informed me they would offer same-day delivery for a Steam Deck with tracking. I came back after quickly confirming this detail, and my Switch was finally processed, and I got my trade-in credit. I then placed my order for the Steam Deck and received it as soon as possible. I was actually quite shocked at how fast it arrived. Please do your research beforehand; it helped me avoid driving far.

Do not come to this GameStop in Snellville Georgia. They will waste your time. I drove over an hour to get here for them. Don’t tell me they can’t take my product. Nothing was wrong with my product brand new box. Haven’t been open yet.

Closed at 6pm on a Saturday, sign said 9pm. Very rude when I opened the door at 6:02 pm got yelled at that she was closing for staff shortages. Absolutely rude and uncalled for. Go to a different location!

This GameStop was one of the best stores I have ever stepped foot into. This store had a great selection of games and had the nicest associate there ever was. I had a visa gift card(we all know how those are) and it would not work, and we couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, so she said "I'll tell you what, you figure what is wrong with this card, and I'll get the game for you." And she did! The associate I had was named Lauren C. This GameStop had the exact game at the exact price I expected.

Stopped by here recently on my search for SNES games. They no longer carry older console games currently, but the manager was helpful in recommending a few other local places I could try. Beyond games, this store has a great selection of POPs if you're a collector.

This GameStop opens whenever it feels like. I’ve gone at least 3 times during business hours to find them not open yet. I get it’s a GameStop, I’m not expecting much. But opening hours late randomly is kind of outrageous.

TL;DR Nice staff, great people. Either they don’t know a lot, or management doesn’t keep their systems updated. If you have more complicated matters than just buying something, go elsewhere.Bf and I been here various times to resolve issues ranging from trade-ins to returning a defective refurbished console bought from GameStop, on the day of arrival. Unfortunately, they have never been able to help out with any of our problems.I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, since all the people we’ve talked to are nice. It may just be an issue with management not updating their systems.I came here to trade in a version 1 Nintendo Switch, but the clerk said he didn’t see it pop up on their system for trade-in. I went to another GS nearby and had no problems trading it in. It could be that they didn’t want to report this as a loss, which is weird because I’m only getting ~$132 for the v1 Switch while paying GS ~$250 for a brand new OLED Switch.Either way, they’re cool enough if you just want to buy a game or do something simple. For more complicated situations like returns, find a different location.

My son new favorite spot!!! He has a PS5 and N. Switch so we are always here buying something but the representatives are always helpful, patient, kind and friendly.
