“I came here with my husband so he can pick up a pair of pants for work. The store was tightly packed with a lot of interesting items. Altho I'm not interested in military gear I had fun browsing. The guy at the front was nice very helpful and friendly. There was a lot in this place and it was very fun to visit. My husband was able to try the pants on before purchasing. And the man at the counter even helped look for more pants in his size when we couldn't find it on the rack. We took our time and didn't feel rushed or watched in anyway. It was a very laid back place. I enjoyed seeing the old war machinery and empty bomb canister out front. Overall great experience would recommend to anyone who needs clothes for officer work,security,hunting ect. There were vintage items as well and my husband said there guns were priced very reasonably. Thank you!”

In the past, I have walked into to gun shops and the customer service sucks, workers cursing among each other in conversation, and just getting ignored. Then when you finally get someone, they act like you shouldn't be there if you're a beginner. You don't get that in Deaton's Gun Shop.I bought a rifle and a scope from this store and the guys were absolutely the best. I asked the older gentlemen if he could just give me a quick run down how to sight the scope and he gave me about 15 minutes showing me how. Even told me some interesting stories in his years in business afterwards. I was lucky no one else was at the store at that moment, but nevertheless, he took the time to tell me. I learned a lot in those 15 minutes.I will continue to buy my guns at Deaton's Gun Shop in the future even if it cost more or have to order it. But the prices was the same as other retailers so you don't have to worry about that.”

I have had them FFL quite a bit of stuff over the years(10+ things). $30 cash transfer fee. They are an asset to the community. In and out in less than 5 mins most every time.
