Yearly exam with Pat Bird at this new location. Very nice and clean in a busy area of Snellville. All went well. I'm very calm with seeing Pat. One thing, though, don't have your nurse asking the same questions on the Medicare paperwork that I'm trying to fill out for you! This is a bit annoying, just wait until I have finished.

It is beyond me how a family practice office is booking 6 months out for new patients. I have never heard of such a thing for a family practice. If you are this busy seeing your current patients, perhaps invest in more providers.

I had the most awesome New Patient visit with Dr. Samuels yesterday! My entire experience, beginning with Tarae, to the time Dr. took to get to know me, was just so genuine and thorough. I left and called my husband immediately to tell him to schedule his appointment, too, and I’m so glad to have found such great family care!

Horrible experience. The doctor's don't care for you like they should. Specifically Dr Elysad. She forgets who are and what her prior diagnosis was. Her answer to everything is go to the ER. no ownership or test being done. My name was entered wrong, If you're having an issue, they dont ask the proper questions, they attempted to overbill my insurance so I assume the quality of service is based upon who has the best insurance. After 4 months of this horrible service, I'm looking for another doctor. My health is not just a check box.

I contacted this office to have services rendered for my child who is special-needs she is 31 years old and has down syndrome. I was advised by office staff that they do not provide services for “those” type of people.I am new to Georgia. I moved here from Northern Virginia and in I have never had a provider’s practice state that, “they do not HANDLE THOSE those type of people. “ I explained that she very communicative and non-combative. Unfortunately, it was repeated to me that, “they do not handle those type of people”.I understand that some providers prefer not to work with special needs that have multiple medical conditions. However, as a previous manager a multi- practice office, I am well aware that the verifiable used is considered unethical. I am also baffled by the fact that a provider office the size of Gwinnett family Medicine, not being able to care for a potential patient with special needs. In cases like this they should be able to refer you to a provider who can possibly Provide services.I gave this review two stars is because overall, the front office staff was very polite throughout our transaction. exception of using offensive statements in regards to people with special needs.throughout

I wasn't happy with my former doctor and the office staff so I was referred to Dr. Samuels practice. OMG! The front office staff were very professional and PLEASANT! And to top it off my first visit with Dr. Samuels was fantastic! He was was thorough, informative, up to date on current health studies, and funny. What more do you want? He set the standards for office visits and doctors.
