If you guys don’t have enough workers for curbside pickup DONT GIVE THE OPTION! Then when you walk in the store to ask they act like they don’t see you or to get in line! Uhhh no, isn’t curbside pickup to skip the line!? I will just have to travel to Duluth or go to Michael’s

Have tried to do store pickup 4 different times for multiple baking items and it shows in stock and an hour after i complete transactions, they always say ooops we dont have these items in store. They need to do a better job at updating the inventory

The store seems good when I last visited. But, their services are a different story! I needed an item the was out of season and all the surrounding stores were out of stock of the item. So, I resorted to ordering the item online. I ordered it 3 days ago and when I called the customer service to get a status update on the item and see if it has already been shipped, I found out that it was going to take 5-6 business days for their warehouse to receive the order and another 6-10 days to shipping and for me to receive it to my home. My advice to all.. if you are looking for something that is out of season, GO THROUGH AMAZON!! Although the website gives coupons for discounts for in and online purchases.. it’s only good for in store purchases only!!

Had a hard time finding the notions I needed for my patterns, then had to wait 30 minutes in line, with only one person handling checkout. I’ll not be shopping at Joanns again.

Worst experience of my life. I cannot believe this store is allowed to operate in such a dismissive, disrespectful nature. I have made reports of Terry, the manager, to the corporate team office for her unprofessional behavior and treating customers like 2nd class citizens. She refused to sell me one item because of a pricing issue, isn’t that the store’s problem to correct? So unbelievable! Dont shop here! Go to Michaels!

One of the worst Joann’s I have ever been to. The inside is dirty. Shelves aren’t stocked. Never enough cashiers. To make matters worse, this morning I showed up at 10am to find a crochet storage bag and the woman says she can’t open yet because there must be another associate in the store with her. It is now 10:22 and me and other customers are still waiting. Just awful.

This store is always in disarray. Today seemed a bit better than other days. I placed an online order for pickup. I was charged more for five items than my original order indicated. The store manager said she cannot price match or refund the difference. She said to contact customer service. I tried calling customer service but a recording indicated all inquiries must be through email. Be aware of your prices when ordering online, then picking up. I am going to return the entire purchase and will not be shopping here anymore. This is not the first issue with this store. For another online order before Christmas, I was given one incorrect item and had to go back to return/exchange for the right item. It was strange because one item I wanted was in the same tray as other items I got, but they gave me a random different item from another department. On several occasions this past fall, I tried to buy a paper pad that was on sale. It would not ring up at the sale price posted and the sales clerk would not adjust the price to match the signage. This happened twice for the same item. On my third try to buy this paper pad, the cashier told me it was a discontinued item and she would not sell it to me at all.The business's practices of this chain store need to be improved or many more people will stop shopping at Joann's. Nobody should expect to pay more that the advertised price for an item. That to me is outright fraud. ** See update below.Update: I went back to the store. The manager printed my receipt from the computer. After checking, I found that I was charged correctly. I explained that the prices shown on her printed receipt did not match what was in my email receipt. She said that always happens and did not know why. So, I kept the items since the prices were right, but I will not be returning to Joann Stores because of confusing pricing and documents, along with other problems with this chain. This is my experience. You decide for yourself.

A letter I sent to Joanns' about how great Faith is.To whom it may concern,I’m writing today to bring to light a situation I experienced on 26th of December while I was shopping for fabric for a couple of new projects using a gift card I was given for Christmas. I’ll start by saying I only come to Joann’s because it is one of the only places I can buy fabric, especially apparel fabric. I have a Hobby Lobby right down the street from me that I refuse to go to for moral reasons and there is another Joann’s the exact same distance from me in Duluth. (this isn’t what this email is about but a Joann’s in Buford would be amazing) I usually go between the Duluth location and the Snellville location. I will now only be going to the Snellville location.I love the community that the textile arts breeds. We have so many unknown meetings places, from online to the cutting table at the fabric store. Faith, the JOANN’s employee at the fabric cutting table is a key to this community. I often go to this counter with a pile of fabric and apologize for all the fabric they will have to cut, and I’m met with a grimace. Not only was Faith happy to help me out, but she was also interested in what I was doing. I told her about the shirt I was hoping to make, hoping to be the key word. Faith, on instinct almost told me that, no, you are making a shirt, and it will be a shirt! This gave me a burst of confidence as we continued our conversation on her experience in school and how we both got a serger for Christmas. This led to two other women chiming in and speaking about quilting, fabric types, how hard it is to thread a serger. When Faith was done, she wished me good luck on my projects, and I left the group of women more confident than ever that I would make that shirt. Being able to commune with women who have more knowledge than me on my hobby is getting harder and harder to do. I learned to sew from my grandma, and I seek out help from generations older and wiser than myself. Faith is a key to this cross-generation communication with her friendly demeanor and her genuine interest in the art. Give her a raise.

Website said this store had #3 in stock. There was only an empty package on the shelf. Asked the ‘manager’ who scanned for it and she said that there were none in stock. I said that I had driven in especially because of the information on the website and she replied “well obviously we don’t have any “ and walked away.No apology….. no offer to check inventory at another store…..and she’s representing Joann Fabrics???Sorry but there are lots of other stores out there….shame on you.
