There's lots of places to get home cooking. There's only one M & J. We went there for the first time today and wondered why we had not visited before now.

First time visiting 3/14/2024. I went and got something to eat. I passed here on Sunday leaving Northern Tools. I saw that Chick-fil-A was closed on one side and the parking lot was full on the other side. I was at the light to turn. I got a plate of food fried chicken and fried okra and fried green tomatoes with mashed potatoes and yams bread was a biscuit a roll and a over cooked corn muffin. Food is made fresh hot and warm delicious.

First time here was today. This looks like it used to be an old Shoney's restaurant. This is Sunday and most of the patrons look like they were 60 or older. The cashier and servers were all nice and the restaurant was clean and bathroom. Here's the skinny. For me the best food items were the squash casserole, fried Green tomatos and the chicken. The roast beef was also good. They didn't have as many items as the average buffet. What items that they did have seem plentiful and look like they were brought out fresh. I also had the cheesecake and the yellow cake with the icing. I didn't like the cheesecake that much it had more of a artificial chemical taste to it to me like the topping was like a strawberry tasting syrup kind of thing but it didn't taste like fresh strawberries at all it tastes more like "artificial flavored" if you know what I mean. The yellow cake was very dry. I could pour a gallon of milk on that and it would absorb every last drop. The stats: Food - 4. Wait staff & cashier -5. Atmosphere - 3. Overall - 4. The total deal.. if you are hungry and in the area and don't want to eat "fast food" go check it out.

Not been here in 10+ years because everything was always over-seasoned (salty). The fried chicken was good, loved the veggies. Waitresses are a little 'distracted'.

It's an all-you-can-eat buffet, not expensive, food average. Ok for a group as the choices are varied.

The place is very good, it is clear that the important thing is not the name of the business, nor that it is a restaurant chain, it is a very comfortable place, excellent service and the most important thing is that their food has a very good seasoning, I loved it I highly recommend them, oh I forgot, their prices are some of the cheapest I have found in the area, visit it and don't be left with the craving.

Best food for the price. Why go to ANY fast food place and spend $9-15, when you can come here and spend $13 and it includes drink? You can't get a 3 course all you can eat meal for this price. And the staff is amazing. If I could give a 6th star I would

Nice old-fashioned buffet. Excellent selection of meats, veggies, sides, and comfort food. Great place for a family style meal. Genuine Southern Hospitality here and everyone is down home friendly. Food was quite tasty and I recommend the chicken fried steak with gravy. It's a bit out of the way for me, but definitely worth the trip.

The people were very nice, but the food was in desperate need of flavor and seasoning! First and last time coming to this place. Really needs more food selections not just chicken and beef.
