“maybe if y’all would watch your kids and and make them pick up after their self the isles wouldn’t be messy and stuff everywhere. yall customers constantly steal shit and expect us not to do nothing about it and yall don’t put stuff back where it go. we can’t get enough freight out because dollar general does not hire enough people and they don’t give us enough hours to get the stuff out so before yall go complain about the dollar generals think about it . if our stores are so bad go shop somewhere else and stop coming back everyday.”

Every time I stop in, I’m honestly surprised (in the best way) by how organized, clean, and fully stocked this store is. You can tell that the team here takes pride in maintaining the space, and it really shows.
The aisles are wide and clutter free, so it’s easy and relaxing to browse, which isn’t always the case at other discount stores.
The layout is neat, the shelves are consistently stocked, and everything is in the right place so you’re not wandering around hunting for items. From seasonal décor to craft supplies, household items, and snacks, I always find what I’m looking for and more!
One of my favorite things about this location is how peaceful and pleasant the shopping experience is. It’s never been overcrowded when I go in, which makes it feel calm and unhurried. You can take your time, look around, and enjoy the hunt for hidden gems without feeling rushed or overwhelmed by crowds.
The staff is always kind and helpful too. On multiple visits I’ve had friendly interactions, whether it was someone helping me find a product or just offering a cheerful greeting at checkout. That level of kindness and consistency makes a big difference and keeps me coming back.
I also noticed they do a great job keeping seasonal displays updated and stocked — the craft section in particular was well maintained and had tons of cute items for DIYs, decorating, or even small gifts. I grabbed a few items for my real estate business projects and was thrilled with the selection and price.
All in all, this Monroe Dollar Tree is a hidden gem and a great example of what a Dollar Tree can be when it’s managed with care and pride. I highly recommend this location if you’re looking for a stress-free, affordable shopping experience with a great selection and a warm vibe.”

“We have the best dollar general store around here in newborn! Always friendly people working there, the shelves are always stocked and the store is neat and clean.
I go to a lot of dollar general stores every day for shopping orders on doordash and they will have stock carts everywhere so you can't get to what you need, most shelves aren't even stocked (cuz it's all sitting in those stock carts) and every isle is a mess.

“By far one of the best DGs in the area in my opinion. Although the staff can be oblivious to what they have at times, they’re nice and never had a problem. Also like most DGs, they constantly have boxes and items all over the floor, this one is one of the most organized, you can tell they really put forth effort making their stores appearance one of their priorities.”
“I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge this family Dollar in Monroe Georgia as a customer one of the main things that’s important to me is a clean store, helpful and friendly employees. I would like to take this moment to recognize one outstanding employee at the store I believe she’s the general manager, and her name is Amanda. I came into the store a couple days ago looking for a specific item. As soon as I turn the aisle this young lady was there to assist me. I was very impressed with her knowledge of product as well as her ability to maneuver through the isles in the store to assist me when you’re a senior citizen you don’t get a lot of help. I found this young lady very delightful. She seems to be very proud of her store, and the people that work with her when I went to the register one of the other young ladies, a cashier I don’t remember her name was very kind and bringing up all the things that I had bought and closing, I would like to say this store is outstanding the employees are very kind and thoughtful.”

“Huge thank you to Mary and Kerri at the Dollar General!! I lost significant amount of money and was absolutely devastated. I went back to the store the next day, and that’s when I learned that Mary and Kerri had safely held onto the money and went ABOVE AND BEYOND trying to find me , even calling Kroger using a receipt I dropped to track down my information. Their honesty, integrity, and kindness brought me to tears.
