it's more than just a gas station, it has everything most people will need for little trips, snacks, alcohol, tobacco products, snacks or whatever. This is probably trying to make up for the NEX not being open for very long or for very late.

Convenient location. Gas prices are usually better than out in town. And they offer propane exchange.
