“I have lived at The George for several years now. The staff has always been helpful. I never been concerned for my safety. If I need something they’ve been quick to respond. They’ve paired me with good roommates. Their facilities are clean and enjoyable. Also when there was a major outrage due to a storm my apartment complex was one of the few places that had power. I would definitely recommend”
“I've been a tenant here for almost a year and so far I'm very pleased. The office staff and maintenance are always friendly and willing to help out in any way. My only concerns are people dumping their trash out in front of the dumpster beside my apartment and people playing loud music late at night.”
“These apartments are perfect for any upcoming student/resident that's looking for a complex that is very up to par and clean. I have lived here for about 5 years and they're always attentive to any issues you may have. They take care of the complex very well with regular yard cuts, routine check ups on furniture and unit wide issues. Maintenance is a 10/10 they're always on point.”
“This is my second school year here at Cottage Row and I absolutely love it for several reasons, specifically the maintenance crew, Louise and Jonathan. they have always gone above and beyond for me and my roomates. from small simple fixes to big ones, they have always responded fast, done an amazing job, and been over the top friendly. 10/10 would always recommend.”
“this was my first year living here, and I have nothing but good things to say about this place! loved my apartment and the staff here is so nice. I lived in a 3 bed 3 bath and it was perfect. rooms are spacious and closet is very good size. the pool is nice and love you can walk to other amenities including gym, computer room, and also the leasing office. grocery store is close to this complex so not a far drive. my favorite part about my place was the big balcony where you can sit and watch the sunset. most of all very affordable. would definitely recommend living here!! thank you garden district for a great year!”

“If you are looking for a budget friendly option and don’t mind somewhere a bit outdated but safe this is a good option. I lived here on two occasions, both for over a year. I never had any security issues. There is no gate and it is on campus located in a back corner but it’s a neighborhood where everyone really stays to themselves and no one bothers you.
I enjoyed the complex. Rent was affordable compared to the other apartments in the area. They keep the area kept up well. The rooms are super spacious with walk in closets on the smaller side. The kitchen and living room are a bit small but the rooms make up for that. There were a few roaches but maintenance handled any requests quickly. I would recommend living here 100%!”
“Good place To live in live here now and it's quite and you can do your work in the gym while you hear no kids and there's only like a couple kids and they don't come outside”
“Southern Downs is a special place—peaceful, welcoming, and full of kind-hearted people. The community is well-managed, affordable, and easy to feel at home in. Sara Sutton is truly exceptional—thoughtful, attentive, and always ready to help. You can tell that everyone here genuinely cares. “I’ve really enjoyed my time at Cambridge at Southern so far! I live in a two bedroom apartment. The community is welcoming, the staffs are super helpful, and the location is perfect for student life as the campus bus is available from the this location and nearest distance to GSU campus. It’s been a great place to live, and I’d definitely recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient living experience near campus.Most importantly, it's furnished and the rent comes with utilities, so no worry about extra utility bill. Overall, it is a really nice place where you can call it home.”
“In the beginning, I was not pleased with the way my apartment looked, in regards to the uncleanliness of it and my expectations of it being ready to move-in. However, Katherine Brown, the community manager, was really kind and helpful in making accommodations for me to still be able to move in early, which I truly appreciate. While I waited for the vendors to come in and change out my carpet, I was able to stay in and move my stuff into another room that was clean. After they changed my carpet, which only took 2 days, I was able to move my stuff into my room and decorate. I am very happy with how everything turned out, and am glad they were able to work things out for me!!”

From the very beginning of my leasing process, they have both been incredibly kind, professional, and responsive. They made my transition into a townhouse so much easier by working with my request for an earlier move-in date and accommodating my situation every step of the way.
No matter how many questions I had, they were always patient, knowledgeable, and quick to help. Their excellent communication and genuine care made me feel valued throughout the entire process.
