I like this setting, even though the young lady did not have what I needed. She was very friendly. Claire’s is located inside the mall.

Customer service was not good at all. Very unfriendly. Cashier was not good at welcoming customers and making sure they had a good visit. Not even thank you after my purchase l, just a here you go for my receipt.

I went to go get my ears pierced with my mom and it was such a good experience!! I had Roxanne, and she was so nice and friendly. She answered all my questions and put me at ease, I was really afraid of the pain. She made all the instructions and cleaning techniques really clear and helpful. Thanks Roxanne!

I am an African American college student who visited this store in Statesboro yesterday, 10/28/2016, for a few items. When I walked in, I wasn't acknowledged, but that did not trigger my attention because that can be typical walking into any retail store. I did notice that I was not asked if I needed any help, although there were three employees chatting, and I scanned the walls as if I did. Once I made it back to the front of the store, two white men walked in and the employees greeted them with, "Hey, Welcome to Claire's. How are you, can I help you with anything?" Literally all three of the associates spoke to them, and how blatant the difference in greetings were triggered my attention to look back at the employees. A young white lady with pink hair was looking at me then looked away. A young white man gave me an evil stare, and an older white woman looked down at her clipboard. I was appalled at their obvious racist views. I left my items on the counter and left the store. I will spread word of this and contact corporate as soon as I receive the manager's name. A simple "hello" could have a made a sale regardless of how one feels!
