On May.13, 2023....I called to check on how much my son medicine would be and the guy who worked in the cvs pharmarcy that day was charging $150..So, I told him to transfer it to walmart. He told me I needed to contact whom ever prescribed it to call them so basically I couldn't just make that request on my own because the doctor called it in the night before. We did just that by reaching out to the hospital the staff there was so nice and I found out later he was rude to the young lady in the hospital. So the hospital called and he gave a bogus lie. Then walmart called he completed lied by saying he didn't have any information on my child. Now remind you my son was in severe pain that friday night so we couldn't get his medication straigthen out until I reach out to the hospital 3 more times. The staff there was amazing because this jerk was not only rude to me he was to her also. And he wouldn't answer the phone several times that day just kept hanging up. To make along story short my son did finally get his medication for cheap at walmart. I will never try to get another prescription filled at CVS phamarcy on fair rd. Statesboro Ga 30458 ever again.

This is long but you’ll want to read the whole thing. I stopped using CVS a couple years ago when they stopped answering their phone, but I was forced to last night since they were the only open pharmacy that took my daughter’s insurance. My experience was unbelievable. It wasnt even the blatant disrespect or annoyed attitudes directed towards me that prompted me to post this review- It was a conversation had between employees right in front of me. 7:30 PM on Wednesday Dec 21, I pulled up to the CVS drive-through. The lights were on and I could see the staff through the glass, working. I did notice the gate on the glass was up, but the regular greeting played over the speaker and it made no mention they were closed, so I waited a minute. No one came to the glass or spoke over the microphone. After a minute of nothing happening I figured the drive-through was closed so I pulled around, parked and went inside. There were no other customers. I went straight to the register, gave my information, and asked (very nicely) what time the drive-through closed. This is what happened after that: the cashier seemed annoyed I would ask but answered that the drive through closes at 9:00 PM. She then began saying that they did not have enough employees available to have it open but she was quickly interrupted by the pharmacist who stated (quite angrily), “Look. We had a HUGE BANK of customers in here not 10 minutes ago…” I said “it’s ok, I was just wondering because there was no sign with hours posted”, and I sat down to wait. As I waited, more people pulled up to the drive through, and the regular greeting went off like it had for me. At first the staff just ignored them, like they had me. Eventually though, one employee grabbed the microphone and, in the fakest most sarcastic “sweet” tone, instructed the customers that the drive through was closed and they needed to come inside. In between instructing more and more customers pulling up, when the microphone was off, this was the conversation had by staff: Worker 1: “Oh my GOD! How hard is it to come inside?! How stupid do you have to be to not notice a whole GATE in the window?!” Worker 2: “I KNOW! (laughing). It’s ridiculous!” Worker 1: “I’m just waiting for one of them to say ‘I can’t walk’.” Worker 2: (laughing again) “You know they will! I want to say ‘how’d you get in the car then?!’.” Worker 1: (also laughing) “Yep. I’ll tell ‘em ‘however you got in your car to pull up here- that’s how you need to get OUT of your car and COME INSIDE.” Calling customers stupid. Making light of sick people and people with disabilities. I was so dumbfounded I couldn’t find the words to say anything to them. Look- I know. I work in customer service. I’m sure these ladies have dealt with their fair share rude customers. It’s the holidays and it’s cold - everyone is tired and would rather be home. But you are performing a job you CHOSE, specifically dealing with sick people who, more than likely, are feeling awful! And besides that - SOME PEOPLE CANNOT WALK! AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHY THEY USE THE DRIVE THROUGH! Educate yourselves! Have some compassion and understanding! And if you cannot muster up any of that then - at LEAST - refrain from name calling and making offensive comments. Do we really need to tell people this now?? Pharmacy workers should be required to take compassion training just like other healthcare workers but this is just common decency. I still cannot believe I actually witnessed this.

This CVS store in Statesboro, GA on Fair Rd has to be the worse CVS ever! I'm waiting in the pharmacy drive thru line for 10 minutes and when I pull up they close the window at 1:37 PM. I guess they all have to go to lunch at the same time. Worse Customer Service Ever! ZERO STARS!

The worse!! It’s not the workers fault - they don’t have enough workers and it’s not due to Covid, it was this way before Covid. Corporate needs to hire more people. I was on hold 3 times today!!! The last time for 48 minutes! Never talked to the pharmacist- they cut me off before I could ask my question. I’m still not sure how to take my new prescription because their label doesn’t match the instructions on the medicine. Ridiculous!!! CVS if you see this please call me! Yes you have my number because you send me text all the time!!!

It's like they just refuse to answer the phone at this pharmacy! Don't call they won't answer you have to go in person! And there you'll see how they just let the phones ring!! Very irritating if all you want to do is refill a prescription which can normally be done in 2 minutes over the phone!

Do not use this pharmacy. You will sit on hold for 20 minutes plus before they answer the phone. Awful customer service.

They suck. I mean they really really suck. You can not get anyone on the phone. I have now been on hold for 25 minutes. At this point I do not know who is more pathetic their customer service or me for sitting on hold. When you walk in the store good luck finding someone to help you. The pharmacy folks just look at you and go about their business. I would not use this store if my insurance did not make me.

Never going back! Took my husbands paper prescriptions after an er accident. Gave them his insurance info. Was told it would be ready in one hour. Came back an hour and a half later, waited in line for twenty minutes, then got to the window and first told it wasn’t ready. Then told they didn’t have his insurance info. Then told they don’t accept his insurance (a major common ins company). They had no idea what they were talking about, all this time my husband is at home in pain. Took it to walker and had it ready in ten mins!

Change the hours! It says open until 12am EVERYDAY!!!!!! Took 20 minutes to get there, only to find out you were closed. That's after calling twice and waiting on the phone over 20 minutes and gave up.

Waited in drive through line for over an hour to get a covid test to pull up to the window and them tell us they are done doing covid tests for the day. I also had 2 prescriptions to pick up on a different day. The drive through had over 8 cars in it so I came inside.. I had a coupon for one, waited in line for 20 minutes for her to tell me I had to go to the drop off line and then get back in the line to pay. Got back in the line to pay, waited another 20 minutes to get to the counter for her to tell me the prescription wasn't ready and needed to wait another 20 minutes!!!! These people are unbelievably slow... it is unreal. Get more people working if week evenings are too busy to handle.

after sitting in line for 25 minutes waiting to pick up my child's medication that had already been prepared and ready. I was the last one at the end of the line after they took 15 minutes taking care of one person in front of me in line they shut the window and locked everything up right in my face. My daughter who is 5 years old has severe allergies and needed her medication all the while pushing the call button trying to ask someone for help they ignored me. so I go in th

I was at the emergency room in another city and called to ask the pharmacist a question about a previous prescription since my daughter is allergic to a type of medication .... I was on hold for 22 minutes and no one ever picked up the phone. Thankfully, my wife was able to call a different CVS to get assistance, but I will never go to this location again.

I'd give 0 if possible. The worst customer service and your prescriptions will take days to be filled. Even if you're required to take that medication daily. Go to Walgreens or anywhere else

My insurance requires that I use CVS. The staff are professional and pleasant, but, lately, they are always behind. My script was called in at 11:00 am, today, and at 5:15 it was not ready. Supposedly, the computer had gone down for 2 hours. That cannot be helped, but a second pharmacist should have been called in to help catch up. Long delays have become too common at the Statesboro CVS. A week ago, I made 3 trips to the store before my prescription was ready. Either add a second pharmacist or stop taking new business. My next step is to move to Express Scripts which is allowed by BCBS of GA.
