“It was a busy time at Gateway. A lady came in with an obviously sick kitten. The staff recognized that and immediately took the little one back. You could tell that Gateway was empathetic and caring.”

What truly impressed me was that they followed up and checked on my pet after she was released. We see Dr. Nessmith and he is wonderful”
“It is convenient that Fixing the Boro is open on Sundays. They do not have restrooms for customers so you have to drive to Walmart or other open establishments to use their facilities. Drop off is at 8:30 am and pickup is at 5:30pm. So if your not from Statesboro you have to wait 8 hours in the parking lot. Nothing to do or see on Sundays.”
“I have a 6 month old chihuahua that is a handful! Nails super sharp and tearing me up! Walked in to have his nails clipped and they did this quick! Now I have a happy pup and I'm not bleeding to death anymore! Really nice lady! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs nails done!”

Dr. Wolfe is super knowledgeable and really kind. I appreciate they let you go in the room with your pets after the exam. He was able to answer my questions and the services were very quick, there wasn't a long wait for my pets to be serviced.
Everyone there, from the front desk girls to the techs in the back, was so nice and friendly. They made me and the kittens feel welcomed, and didn't stress the cats out at all.
Im most impressed with their qucik responses even after they closed on Sunday, when I called with a couple of worries over the weekend. They got right back to me with helpful answers and made sure everything was okay. That kind of care means a lot to me since I was really worried about my cats getting their vaccines so late and I was scared of a bad reaction.
Prices were really reasonable too—way lower than any other place I checked around Statesboro. I felt like I got awesome care without paying an arm and a leg.
I can’t recommend University Animal Hospital and Dr. Wolfe enough if you want a vet who actually cares and doesn’t charge you a fortune.”

As difficult as it all was, my experience at the clinic itself was positive. Dr. Costner is intelligent and informative, and was supportive throughout.
The staff were all professional as well, and handled the euthanasia process calmly and effectively despite me being a grieving mess.
