HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
If I could give ZERO STARS I would.
Stopped by today 07/07/2025 because 3 children with me like the cold 3/$3 Powerade. Choose that location because I was in the area....
Upon entering store I saw a 12pk soda display offering (3) 12pk for $14.... So I added those to a cart... Walked through store grabbed a few more items... My total shouldn't have exceeded $40... I asked cashier CSR to insure the drinks were correctly priced... Of course they weren't... He called for ASM, the total was roughly $13 more than advertised... I stated she could remove the 3 cases of they couldn't honor the price, it was no pressure.... The ASM wanted to confirm with another person didn't get name or title.... 3rd person EXTREMELY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, ARROGANT and so much more.... Which in my opinion could use lots of RETRAINING even REPLACEMENT...
She stated they would get around to removing EXPIRED TAGS when they got to it... #3 kept insuating that I just wanted that price..
This sales tag ON the product expired on July 5th (2) days ago...
which had plenty of time to be removed by workers... Then a fourth worker approached the front, both 3 and 4 yelling to me to GET OUT OF THE STORE as I exited the store...
Not before #3 asked me if I wanted to work for....
I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER...
MAAM SIR, and I say that in the most respectful way.... This location showed me today, that something is clearly wrong up top... Because ALL things roll downhill including BS .. I WOULD NEVER ALLOW MY TEAM NO MATTER THEIR POSITION TO INTERACT WITH A CUSTOMER IN THAT MANNER...
Moral of my experience..
Give a person a key to let the staff in, and they'll run off all your customers...
I will never in life visit that location again. And I love FAMILY DOLLAR..

My husband had gotten $50 dollars cash back after a transaction. She stated she didn’t have it in her drawer to give. Instead of getting it from the safe or else where her and the Manager on duty said to dispute it with his bank. I explained that her drawer at the eod will be over 50 dollars they said no the system will see and once disputed with the bank it’ll refund it.. Which doesn’t make sense and not true. Bank declined the dispute and I have no way of speaking with someone higher up. So we are out of 50 and sure the cashier took it

I went there this evening to by some laundry detergent which was on sale and I had a coupon. My intention was to purchase 4 detergents but once the cashier rung them all up the coupon did not come off so, I asked her to please remove 2 of the detergents and I would purchase 2. She called up Sonny (idk if that's the manager) who proceeded to remove the items, not without first insisting that they were on sale and removing the 2 detergents would make just 2 more expensive. I told her no I'll only get the 2 since the coupon didn't apply. She proceeded to tell me that she has had to fire people because of all the voided transactions that keep happening when people get to checkout, because it makes it look like they're the doing something wrong? and that she can't keep doing that. That she needs to be able to keep her workers because she tired of having work so many hours that of i noticed there were always new faces? (I have been there 3 times within 5 months?) That she will not be canceling out any more transactions for no one, that if I came back to the store to make sure I had what I wanted before I got to the register because she would not do this again. She went from cool and collected to loud and pissy real fast. I asked her if she really thought that I should pay for something I didn't want just because she said so? She responded you always come in here and do this. She took the items while talking ish*
There were other people in line behind me, the incident was just embarrassing. Sorry Sonny but t1111hese are hard times and I will save money when and where I can! Not good all the time,u have to make sure that u are paying attention,why meaning, that ur not going to get all of ur items that u pay for and it shows on ur receipt, one person spoiled the reputation for this store

My first time this family dollar and I lost something very special to me in there and I left to come back 15 mins later and the doors are locked before store closing time and the phone was off the hook I noticed while paying for my items so when I called of course the line was busy store not suppose to close until 9 and I was back way before 9. I knocked on the door and no staff came to door. Very unprofessional and unacceptable. So the rating isn't worth a one star but that's the lowest I could rate this store

Online the times are listed as closed at 10pm. Okay, on Sunday went there at 9pm closed-no problem. Here is it at 8:40pm the store is closed while she sat on her behind and denied several of us entry. For simply diapers you are telling me the store was closed 20mins early. This is the same location where one of the females was extremely disrespectful to her co worker for his sexuality. This ridiculous that this store cannot hire competent staff.
