Called the pharmacy to checked to see if my medication was ready. A man answered the phone and said “Thank you for calling Walmart Pharmacy. There are 3 people ahead of you. Hold please” He didn’t wait for my response and just put me on hold! WTH? Don’t you suppose to ask a person if it’s ok to put them on hold. If he couldn’t handle a phone call why did he answer the phone? Someone else could have answered the phone. I’ve seen them answer the phone while filling medication. He expected a caller to wait while he wait on 3 customers?? He should had just transferred the call to someone who was not working the register? This is Ludacris!!

I came in to drop off my medication prescription after an emergency tooth extraction. The lady at the drop off desk asked for my ID and I told her Im just dropping off and not picking up. She said "Youre dropping off pain meds you know you need your ID." I actually didnt know that because I dont ever drop off pain medication. The attitude threw me but whatever, I grabbed my ID from the car. Then she stands talking to the pharmacist for a few minutes, still with my ID in hand, and Im wondering why Im still there considering Im just there to drop off the prescription. She comes back and said it wont be ready for 4 hours. I just told them I had an emergency tooth extracted. She said I could wait or go somewhere else. She had a terrible attitude from the start and she had no sympathy considering I was in extreme pain. I work in healthcare and this is not how people should be treated.

I usually drop my prescription off and wait for the text, but today I had a bad case of pink eye that was driving me insane. Even though I appeared to be agitated, a new pharmacist (I’ve been coming here for years) named Erica assisted me today and “ERICA I AM SO GRATEFUL!” She was quick, efficient and informative and BEYOND helpful. I think she could see that I was irritated, but not by ‘someone’ and asked what was going on (instead of making assumptions) I told her my eyes were driving me crazy and she got me my prescription in less than 15 minutes. I want to say “thank you” to her and to Walmart pharmacy .. hire more people like Erica - people that actually CARE ?

This pharmacy is my new go to. Why, because my experience as a mom was noting less than great. My child’s medication ran out. I called in on a Saturday the pharmacist I spoke to was knowledgeable and efficient, she faced in a request. When Monday came about they still hadn’t received my child’s refill. Now this had me rather anxious as it is a stimulant and the Dr was questioning why we needed the refill as the original was for 30 days so it shouldn’t be due Until April 6th. (It was originally filled for 20 due to the insurance) However, Selam, whom I spoke with on Monday, (a few times) was able to answer any and all questions/concerns I may have had trying to obtain a refill on this medication, even the ones I should have already known the answer to. Not only was she all of that, but she reached out to the Dr to explain what happened and she didn’t have to. She went above and beyond. Selam, thank you so so so much for all that you did. When I went to pick up my child’s medication the next day, Jeffery was the Pharmacist on shift that day. As I stood in line, I watched and observed as I had nothing else better to do: I’m not kidding when I watched him in a timely manner, efficiently fill and cross cheek medications for verification and attend to the customers who checked out with any information that they needed. I don’t think I waited more than 1-2 minutes at the “consultation window” after I checked out and that was in a line of 4 people if I remember correctly. Jeffery, thank you so much!I also want to say any of the pharmacy technicians I’ve came into contact with have always been super nice and pleasant. Very efficient. I’m switching all of my pharmacy needs to this pharmacy. I understand the pharmacy gets rather busy and things happen but when a pharmacy does this much to ensure the patients needs are met, it speaks beyond words and I can not be grateful enough.I speak from someone who has been a CNA, Pharmacy Tech, and currently in school for medical assistant) I hope that anyone who reads this understands, these staff members are wonderful but human, so please have patience as the work diligently to meet your needs. Not everything is perfect but this pharmacy will do what they can to ensure you are their top priority.

I just went in to get something two employees one I summed was off the clock and the other was the cashier. Continued the conversation about management that had transferred or moved on to other stores. I kept waiting to get checked out the cashier informed meme that she was waiting on the system to come back up. No hi no welcome to Walgreens. Couldn't see her complete name as it seemed to be an old name tag but it something like Dominique or Demetria. No thank you either. Very piss more customer service. And she talking about management wow

I freaking HATE coming to this Walmart! On top of them never having anything you need everyone that works here is RUDE and so not helpful EVER! The pharmacist always give the wrong time frame for you to come pick up your meds so you end up having to just wait around for at least another 45 minutes! Don't even bother to ask for help because you will be getting on THEIR nerves. Just overall terrible customer service!

After using the Pharmacy at Walmart and experiencing the same frustrations reported by others, I think I've figured out a way to make it less painful. The key is going within 1-2 hr of their opening and closing time (the pharmacy, not Walmart as a whole). There is usually no line at those times. If I have a lot of shopping to do and they can fill it in "30 min", I will pick it up that day. Otherwise, it is easier just to come back later so I am sure it will be ready when I am. The most important thing is to go during non-peak hours when ever possible. If I see 12 people waiting in line, I just turn around and come back another time.

Every time I get ready to checkout I noticed the other workers would leave their area and come over and just stand there talking to the cashier whose ringing me up. They're always walking back and forth distracting the customers but when I really need some one to help me they are no where to be found.. Not very Professional ☹ï¸
