“Really loved this Plato’s closet. I’ve been to other locations in Chicago and this by far the best location I’ve been to. Great selection, great music, welcoming staff. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Just recently found this place due to the new farmers market next door, I didn't realize we had such a cool vintage/antique store nearby! We were able to find things in many different price ranges, and it was definitely worth looking around the whole warehouse. Lots of very unique items, and we found this cool looking clock to bring home with us.Very friendly staff and a fun time. Love to support local businesses like this one!”

“This place! What an amazing and eclectic collection. Like the place next door, this is a mall-style antique and vintage/retro shop with many vendors. You always find something new when coming in — everything from trinkets to furniture and even some new stuff made by local artists! A must-see. Nice people and really unique finds.”

“Absolutely love Queenie’s!! Such a well curated consignment store. I can always find something fun and unusual and they even have a good selection of vintage. A+++”

“This is a fun store with a great selection of unique and vintage clothing. My husband never wants to shop with me but he loved the boots. It is a bit pricey but it’s nice to come into a store that’s organized and makes the search easy. The only negative thing I can say is that they don’t have mirrors in the dressing rooms (or at least the one they put me in). Being body conscious and not always the most comfortable when shopping this gave me so much anxiety that I didn’t buy anything. I just didn’t want to walk outside of my dressing room in front of the store for everyone to see.”

“My wardrobe was getting a little stale, so I came in to see what I could find. Cal was very helpful! Ended up recommending a harness & a very cute pentagram belt to me, both of which I picked up. Ended up getting a very gothic-looking pirate coat, & a couple smaller pieces as well. Thanks Cal!”

“I am greeted every time I step in the door and they ask if they can assist in any way. Their selection is always nice... from furniture & paintings to outdoor items and household decor...They have it all! Some items are pretty expensive but you can also find some reasonable treasures as well. I will always return hunting down treasures or just to pass time”

“I recently sold some clothes here recently and thought the woman who helped me was very friendly. I was stunned to be offered $85 for the amount of stuff I was leaving, which included never worn designer items. All to say, it’s a good spot if you need to just get rid of nice stuff quickly like I did (I am moving!), but it feels like a rip off if you have a halfway decent sense of the market and worth of your belongings. If you’re not in a rush, just sell it online or donate it — there’s no way you’ll make less than if you bring it in :) I hate to suggest that over working with a local business, but in this case it holds true. I would, however, stop in to browse for items to purchase in the future.”

“They had a lot of cool deals there and they’re willing to work with you with pricing of furniture or appliances and they actually give back to the community I want saw them passing out winter jackets to the homeless and they also have a church connected to it so if you’re looking for a church you can attend there they do a lot of great work for the community”

“I love shopping at Finders Keepers! They have such a great selection. It's so hard to shop at the mall after shopping second hand. Half the time it doesn't even feel like secondhand shopping. They have so many items that are new with tags! I got a gorgeous Sea New York dress for under $100 recently. The people who work there are super nice too. I was looking for a dress to wear to a wedding and one girl, I don't remember her name. She always has on a cool outfit with fun colors. She went through the racks pulling stuff that she thought might work. I didn't find anything on that day but I really appreciated how enthusiastic she was to help me find what I was looking for. I still got a cute pair of flare jeans. They always have a lot of Anthropologie labels so I go there a lot for those too. This is definitely my favorite clothing store by far.”

“They met with me and assisted me gave me resources I needed, it was easy to find. You can come in and talk to them in person it's better than a phone calls that never gets through.”

“If you need some quite cash and trying to hand off some items this is the spot cause they have a line of people every morning even before they open up. Lots of different clothes, but it is pricey if you are buying anything. Again I would go here if I really needed some cash quick.”

“All the workers at the buy counter were pleasant and efficient! It’s the only Plato’s I’ve dropped off at in the ATL area that had my clothes back to me in under an hour. Obviously, Plato’s is not the place to go if you’re looking to turn big profit on your used clothing, but I received a respectable amount in exchange for clothes I would have otherwise donated. Will be happy to return!”

“best customer service I got to sell my clothes!!!Recently I went to Plato’s closet and uptown cheapskate. These stores prefer casual clothes and they do not accept formal dress. While this store is like a buyer store. See the second pics, they got all the designer clothes and returned the casual, black white clothes to me.Besides that, unlike other stores, the staff kindly fold my clothes. They treat my stuff so well!No matter the price. Their service is the BEST!”

“Good clothes for cheap... I dig. Location and Parking Plato's is located in a shopping center at the corner of Briarcliff and N Druid Hills. Parking is free. Venue and Atmosphere The store is packed with clothing and shoes in every corner. If you are selling clothes, proceed to the "buy counter" on your left. Give them a call to confirm buying hours before you go, as they change frequently. The clothing and shoes are generally arranged by size, and clearance is denoted by red aisle markers. The round clothing displays up front are a free for all, and generally aren't arranged. I skip those because I get overwhelmed easily, but if you enjoy the hunt, then go for it. Most clothing is priced $25 and under, and more expensive shoes and accessories are behind the register. The brands range from Walmart to mall brands, as well as nike, Adidas, Lululemon, etc. They have lots of brand-name tennis shoes for decent prices. **If you are coming to sell clothing, you will need to drop it off and return later. It's usually a 3-4 hour turn around.**Service The staff is friendly, and many of them have been there for years (I'm a loyal shopper lol). Verdict I'll be back schlepping in a bag of my off-season clothes.”
