I highly recommend this school as I’ve witnessed significant academic improvement in my children. They’ve acquired numerous skills, enhancing their communication and social abilities. The environment is safe and welcoming, with exceptional teachers and leaders who are understanding, communicative, and passionate about their work.

With Thanksgiving approaching, I want to take a moment to say a big THANK YOU to the school office team and the teachers for everything they helped. The office team is very friendly and helpful to the parents and child. One thing I want to mention is the enrollment story. We moved to this school area after the school year started. With a big movement from Canada, a lot of things going on, very stressful with three kids. The top priority was to find a school for my son. The Goddard is the one we like most after several tours of the daycares. But they have no spot available until January, so I still reserved it. Meanwhile, I enrolled my son at another Goddard school which is located near Old Atlanta road, almost 20 minutes away from my new home. A week later Chris, the business manager, called me and asked me if I wanted to come early because one of the current students was leaving soon. Of course I wanted, five minutes away from home is a big difference and much more convenient, especially since I have a newborn. The problem was another Goddard let my son start school and I was doing the registration process…With both schools' office team’s understanding and help, my son transferred smoothly from Old Atlanta one to this location…My son loves both school and the teachers, especially Ms. Shunda, She is an amazing teacher, she knows the kids very well and uses a very positive way to help the kids grow.I know we made a good choice and I would love to recommend both of the schools to the parents who are looking for a good school for their child.

My daughter has been attending Goddard School since 2021 and she really enjoys it. She’s made lots of friends and really likes her teachers. The people who work here are fantastic, and always have time to say hi, smile, or get a hug. The teachers and director really care for the kids which can be hard to find nowadays. Amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindset.

Terrible experience at the location and with this staff. Our family had taken a tour of this location and even met with the teacher of the kindergarten class. We were then told our son would be admitted once the application was received. A month after receiving the application, we receive a half hearted email explaining that since he was not 5 before Sept 1st he would not be eligible for admission, even though we were told by our tour person Chris and Emily (school administration) from Goddard that he could be admitted. After doing research we identified that the school had decided to only accept current students and save spaces rather than admit perfectly ready students. We are completely put out as we were relying on this location and schools are now fully booked. We also understand that the age requirement which was the reason for our denial is a lie and not a company policy for Goddard. The staff made up a million excuses and we did not even receive an apology for our troubles. We are glad we realized what kind of people run this establishment and we are HAPPY to not to be apart of it. BEWARE for your children!

The administration at this school is inadequate and not equipped to communicate with families and adults. They made a horrible error regarding enrolling my son and rather than take accountability and work to make the situation better, they refused to take responsibility. To make matters worse, they blatantly lied about enrollment qualifications and flat out didn't do the simple task of reading the enrollment forms. I am appalled at the lack of customer service, care, and concern for children and families. If you care about your child, do not send him/her here. The inadequacy of the front office staff speaks volumes about what goes on in a school building.

Both of our boys attended Goddard, one from infant until 3 YO and the other from infant until 2 YO. We left Goddard with nothing but positive memories and experiences. Both of our children looked forward to school everyday. There are always challenges with daycare but what we appreciated was that their staff and management's openness to feedback and willingness to change for a more positive experience. We really appreciate the family environment they tried to foster for our boys and our entire family.

I rated this School the way I did because of the situation I am about to share. It’s a long review, but necessary! I want to say that the first year our son attended this Goddard School (Aug ‘21-May ‘22 for Pre-K) went very well. We loved his Pre-K teacher (Ms. Shunda) and we couldn’t be happier! Our son was loved by everyone there! With that being said my wife and I decided to meet with the owner of The Goddard School (Ted Ray) on 11/16/22 because we started to notice some (negative) changes and wanted to discuss our worries and concerns we had with our son’s kindergarten teacher, spending an hour discussing our concerns. Ted was receptive and assured us he’d take our concerns seriously. Some issues we brought up were about the teacher’s attitude, being unorganized and even confusing, especially when it came to homework. The teacher missed many days to which her class (more often than not) would spend the day playing in another classroom. I have to say that both my parents were teachers of 40+ years in one of the best school districts in Western New York and I, myself, was a substitute teacher for 8 years in a top 5 school district in New York State, so I do know a thing or two. At the end of this meeting Ted assured us he would “take care of it” and would follow up with the teacher, and with us after the holidays. Fast forward to our second meeting with Ted and Emily (Director of Education) on 1/31/23. The meeting this time carried a completely different, negative tone. The reason for this second meeting was because I had filled out a survey that was emailed to all parents, with me filling it out truthfully. Up to the point of receiving this survey we felt nothing had changed. In fact, things were getting worse. Parents even started to talk openly with us about some of the same worries and concerns. This second meeting came about solely because I completed a survey. The survey, and my honesty, was apparently the straw that broke the camel’s back. Before the survey there was no mention of a follow-up meeting from 11/16/22, only after receiving the survey. From the start of this second meeting on 1/31/23 I was frustrated and upset as ANY parent would be. Apparently I wasn’t allowed to be because almost immediately Ted started yelling at me and my wife with ALL decorum that a school owner should show towards a parent going out the window. Ted stood over us, yelling at us, calling me a bully when he, in fact, is acting like the bully. There was absolutely no reason why I shouldn’t feel comfortable enough to share our frustrations with no change, no follow up, and things seeming worse. My wife and I spent a LOT of money to give our son the best education we could, and to be treated in such a way was completely inexcusable! Ted’s only solution was to yell and say, “you have two weeks to find your son a new school!!” THIS was his solution to our concerns. There was no listening, letting me get the concerns off my chest, letting us vent our frustrations, nothing! They took our concerns and worries personally and they overreacted, when in fact they should have listened and understood! When it comes to what is most important for the students, concerns and worries should be taken seriously, and handled professionally. Please be aware because Ted will convince you that the students are ALWALYS put first, when in fact he shows they aren’t. On a side note both classrooms our son was in this year were always messy, cluttered, and unkempt, with the kindergarten teacher leaving the lights off every single day. The kindergarten students sit in a dark classroom all day, with masks on, and almost never go outside to run around (which ALL 6 year olds need) during the school day. How is this a positive experience for these students? There is so much more I can share because people need to be held accountable, especially when it comes to schooling! I will never back down when it comes to wanting the best for my son! This entire situation was truly sad and unacceptable! **UPDATE- To owner’s response: I couldn’t be any more accurate!!

This is our second Goddard School. First one was in Sandy Springs when our baby has 18 months and then we moved to North Georgia so decide this one. Excellent place ( huuuuge patio). We haven't met any teachers yet because we enter the school on January 2021 and we are still with COVID protocols, so I let her in front of the main entrance. She seems happy and very interested about letters and playing in the patio. We made our Tour appointment with the Owner, Mr. Ted, excellent person and profesiona, he gave us a lot of his time, we really apreciate that. Because of Covid we weren't able to visit the school during school hours but we got the entire tour and he was ver responsive and respectful. We are going to take Goddard Pre-K program.
