“For a 15th consecutive year a group of friends have traveled to some corner of America to visit that regions automobile museums. This year our target was the state of Georgia.
Our first stop was with Greg Wyatt and his museum manager Dee at the Vintage Corvettes and Museum in Summerville. Across the years we've seen how the facility in which a cluster of cars are housed plays a huge role in the overall museum experience. In this case, Greg Wyatt pursued the old 1950s Summerville Chevrolet dealership building as long and hard as he has pursued some of his Corvettes. Greg put huge time and money into the renovation of the facility so that today it is a stunning setting that offers an ideal backdrop for his 1st and 2nd generation Corvettes. We shall see how long it lasts for us, and that may determine whether we shop here for our next vehicle or not.One thing is you have to be patient and persistent. Billy is a busy guy, and it can take him a while and several reminders to follow through on things. Most of the sales people are friendly enough, and try to give decent deals on the vehicles they have to offer. As with any used car lot, know a little about what you're looking at when you go and have someone with at least a little vehicle knowledge check out your prospective purchase.”
