Extremely Disappointing Customer Service
I have been an AT&T customer since 1999, starting from BellSouth, through Cingular Wireless, and then AT&T—a total of 26 years with the same wireless provider.
Over the years, my bill kept increasing, but I stayed loyal. I upgraded phones, added lines as my children grew up, and never complained. However, when Verizon recently offered a plan that saved me $150 per month, I made the difficult decision to switch—after 26 years.
After switching, I visited the AT&T store at 8020 McGinnis, a location I’ve gone to regularly for the past 4–5 years, to ask a few questions. In the past, this store was helpful and resolved issues in person. This time was completely different.
I was repeatedly told, “You need to call AT&T yourself. We can’t help you.”
No assistance. No explanation. Just a dismissive and unfriendly attitude.
What makes this worse is that every single time, it was the same employee who refused to help. This was not a one-time issue, but a repeated pattern across multiple visits. The employee (an Asian male with short hair and glasses) consistently refused in-store assistance and showed no interest in helping a long-term customer.
Despite being a 26-year customer, I was treated as if my loyalty meant nothing.
This store may be individually owned, but that does not excuse terrible customer service. If this behavior continues, I will return, obtain the employee’s name, and update this review.
Because of this experience, I will never return to AT&T, and I am also in the process of switching my AT&T internet service to another provider.
This is one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I am leaving this one-star review to warn others.

I don’t know what AT&T is up to…. But I will never partner with them… In the last three weeks, they failed me more than any other company or corporation I’ve ever worked with in my life… AT&T is the most disappointing and pitiful company I’ve ever seen for a cellular brand… Please go with T-Mobile.. They actually care about the people they work with

I had an excellent experience at the AT&T store. Ray was phenomenal throughout the entire process. He was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. He made what could have been a complicated transaction feel easy and stress-free.
I also want to call out CJ, who provided thoughtful and insightful recommendations that helped me choose the right plan and options for my family. Both Ray and CJ went above and beyond, and their customer service truly stood out.
Highly recommend this store and team for anyone looking for a smooth, well-guided experience.

I like to know about the reward. Last time ai ask about ray an meta glasses for a reward. I got from my email for reward only for gift card. I don’t see any email for meta glasses. How can I see the meta glasses for a reward for that? would you mind could you help with that?

As a long-time AT&T user, I was very upset when I found out that my monthly bill was relatively high after being asked about it by other companies. I visited the Doravill store and told them about the situation. Since there were no employees I knew before, I hesitated until Erick, who was a support person, greeted me warmly and told me about my complaint. He reassured me and explained that there was a way to pay less for people over 55 and assured me that I could continue to use the same service. After that, when I got home, I received an email from AT&T asking me to sign in. I tried more than 10 times, but the chat system did not solve my problem. When I visited the store again, Erick solved everything. I don’t think my son or daughter could handle me like that. I returned home feeling really good. For older people, this kind of help is a joy that money can’t buy. I will let everyone know once again that Erick is a very capable and exemplary employee.

Nani was so fabulous on 7/10/25! My phone died and she helped me get a new phone ASAP. I am so happy! She was so nice and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this store! Love love love my new phone!❤️
