Would not recommend. For a $50 haircut, the stylist was chatting loudly the entire time i was getting shampooed. Her combs were not in barbicide which clean them. Did not use a hair protectant in my hair and flat iron the heck out my hair. I can tell some of my hair was not cut by looking at my ends. Stylist was nice though.

My wife has gone to many Salon/ Hairdressers in the 25 years since I’ve known her and this one takes it to a whole new level when it comes to customer service and being accountable.
She was quoted $55 to dye her roots. While washing her hair water mixed with chemical hair dye flowed to her face and into her eyes, 1) lack of care.
Mid way through the ordeal a gentleman walks up suggesting she gets a blow-dry with she agreed as one would reasonably expect it to be an additional $10 - $20. Nope - she was charged an $42 for that took less than 10minutes. 2) non-transparent upselling.
Through the rest of the day and night she had to endure extremely strong chemical/ synthetic smells as a result of the hair-dye. She called them the next morning seeking guidance of how to rid the smell and the receptionists immediate response was “you are the first one with this issue, maybe just wash your hair”. After spending almost $100 less than 24 hours this Salon is asking the customer to wash the hair off effectively undoing all that was done for the money spent. When pressed, the receptionist claimed to make reference to the hairstylist only to come back with “I don’t know what to tell you, we are the first with this problem and the hairstylist agreed that the only way is to wash it”. This 3) lack of empathy towards the customer’s predicament and 4) non-chalant attitude to dismiss the issue without an ounce of accountability broke the straw on the camel’s back.
After all of this, reluctantly she washed her hair in an attempt to rid the strong synthetic/ chemical smells but to no avail even after two rounds. So it doesn’t seem your recommended solution, which undid what we paid for, resolved the issue. At the end of the day, you profited at the expense of the customer!
To the owners of this establishment, while you claim this to be the first of this feedback be it known this is likewise our first of this experience after years of patronizing similar hair styling services in other establishments.

It is no secret that most people want a professional, good-looking haircut or hairstylist.
CJ Hair Studio has had issues hiring receptionists. The current receptionist is a middle-aged woman who looks more like a prison guard than a receptionist. When I walked in, she never said hello, and her tone was disrespectful and condescending.
The worst part is the overwhelming odor of hairspray lingering in the air. The ventilation system is not up to CODE. It is gross and unsanitary to see hair pile up, surround every chair, and spread over the floor. It looks like a landfill instead of a professional Hair Studio.
The owners, who had their chairs behind the receptionist, didn’t seem to make any effort to improve his receptionist's attitude or the store's cleanliness. Keeping the floor clean is also a sign of a responsible business owner.

i have had a previous GOOD experience, but today it was just terrible. i make an appointment for a trim, i get there and ask for my hair to be washed and she rushes washing my hair, washing it under 5 minutes. shes getting water all in my face and practically scraping the shampoo into my head. it was so rushed!!!!! and then she takes me back to the seat to dry my hair but instead puts me under a hair dryer for 20+ minutes. then she dries my hair and cuts atleast 2 inches off. mind you, i asked for a trim (i asked for 1 inch ONLY as i like to keep my hair longer), she constantly keeps cutting it from when its first wet until its all the way dry. after drying it, i look at both sides of my hair and one side is so much shorter than the other, so she cuts the longer side to match it. then she blow drys my hair and i asked her to straighten it and she didnt even straighten the back of my head. i think she cut off atleast 2 inches in total and i am really mad about it. “she” is referring to this stylist lin/lynn however you spell it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING TO HER FOR YOUR HAIR CUT!!!!! she was terrible, rushed my hair, and rude. -10/10 experience and i might not ever come back here because of this.

Today I travelled 50 minutes to get hair cut from my favorite hair stylist here named JOE!!! Best hair stylist and he again did a great job in giving me a good hair cut !!he is very professional and cut hairs very well and slowly and give proper hair cut as per my looks . I would highly recommend to everyone to try here and get the best hair cut from JOE!! See my look afte hair cut today and my selfie with Joe!!!

I have never gotten a worse haircut in my life. I didn’t want to write a review because it wouldn’t change anything, but I have been incredibly upset to the point of tears. I’ve been growing out my hair for almost a year now and wanted to get a simple trim. The lady I had cut 4 inches off without warning even though I showed her where I wanted the cut and verbally said 1-2 inches. I also communicated that I’m growing it out and wanted to keep it long. On top of that, she cut layers in my hair without asking (and they do not suit me unfortunately). Additionally, I said I didn’t want to cut face frames and wanted to let my previous ones keep growing. Not only did she cut them, but she also cut them uneven with about an inch difference between both sides. I didn’t notice until I got home because I was very upset about the length. She was working on two other customers at the same time as me which could have contributed to the miscommunication (she washed someone’s hair and cut + styled another’s while I waited in the chair with wet hair). The worst part was her asking me if I “missed my long hair” after she finished. For receiving the exact opposite of what I wanted, the price was entirely unreasonable. Honestly, I should have cut it myself at home because at least if I ruined it, it would’ve been for free.

Have been going here for years! I usually go to Danny but every single person is amazing. They're the only ones that won't chop off your hair and really listen to what you want! I drive an hour to come here and it's completely worth it. My mom lives in TX and waits to get her hair cut here when she's visiting!
