Golf course is well maintained; however $15 for a bag of 50 range balls is quite unreasonable. The main issue I found is the HOA’s policy of openly abrogating guests’ right to travel. The security guard stated she needed to make sure I had a driver’s license to verify I could legally drive. The security guard even stated she did not want to verify who I was when I handed her my passport, just to make sure I could legally drive…well, what if I did not want to contract with a state for a privilege already secured by a right?..the HOA would deny me access to a golf course open to the public? To the vast majority of people, this would never be an issue, but as someone who is learned in the law and cares about the sovereignty of the people, it’s a problem. There’s simply no just cause for that type of discrimination.

We’re a neighboring community that joined tennis hosted by Edinburg. The kids love it! All 6 courts are beautiful. Very nice facilities.

Edinburgh - It is not just a place in Scotland - it is also a wonderful place to live right outside the cities of Suwanee and Sugar Hill Georgia.Like its namesake the 463 home sites of Edinburgh intersect the game of golf. The subdivision surrounds the Jack Nicklaus designed Bear's Best Golf Course, one of the best courses in Georgia, and one of only two in the world designed by Mr. Nicklaus himself. For those residents that don't play golf Edinburgh offers a number of other options. Many enjoy a work out on the tennis courts, a dip in the Jr. Olympic Pool, a snack or a full meal at Jack's Place in the clubhouse or simply the wonderful peace and tranquility of a golf community surrounded by the Chattahoochee River.Minutes away from some of the best schools in Gwinnett County and close to parks and restaurants, Edinburgh is one of the few places left where you aren't assaulted by the roar of traffic. The full-time security staff ensures the security of this gated community, but it is the residents that truly make it such a wonderful place to live.Homes Edinburgh's real estate sits along nearly 600 heavily wooded acres along the Chattahoochee River, just outside the town limits of Suwanee, Georgia. Edinburgh includes a rare combination of the River, Golf, and elegant homes for sale in a gated community.Edinburgh's golf course, Bear's Best, is a course designed by Jack Nicklaus. He used some of his personally chosen favorite holes from his portfolio in the design. There are several other amenities for residents of Edinburgh to enjoy too!
