I found my forever contractor! Everything was very well taken care of from start to finish! We had a lot of water damage. Needed a new roof, drywall and flooring! It turned out perfect! Thank you so much!

They are very prompt trustworthy and reasonably priced. When my tankless hot water heater quit they had a new one I place within a day. When I had a water leak in my front yard I called at 9am. They were here by 10 to give estimate and repair was finished and I had running water again by 4pm that same day.

I have been very happy with a small room renovation Fix R Us did for me several years ago. The job involved removing old paneling and a damaged ceiling, replacing and repairing damaged sheetrock, installing molding, priming and painting. The workers were professional and removed all debris, and the price was reasonable. I especially appreciate care and professionalism of Mike who coordinated the project and checked out everything. I highly recommend this company!

Mike and his team did a fantastic job in finishing the basement. On every turn of the project Mike followed up consistently and worked consistently hard till we were satisfied. We were happy during and after project completion. 5*.

Cannot say enough good things about this company. The work was excellent, the schedules ran like clock work, everyone was polite and hardworking and Mike, the manager, was communicating with me throughout the project. I could have had better service , nicer co tractors or a better project manage. They are a 12 on a 1 to 10 scale. Have already passed their card to 3 friends. Within 3 weeks I was happily cooking I. My gorgeous kitchen.

The water heater in our home discharged about a gallon of water daily; and the water pressure fluctuated daily from 40psi to upwards of 120psi. The FIX-R-US technician, Louis, identified the problem within minutes afterarrival. He immediately replaced the faulty valve; and then cost was really reasonable. Louis is very knowledgeable and is definitely a professional. His personality immediately placed me at ease; and helped me trust his word. He even provided information on how to maintain my water heater and plumbing systems.

Mike presented as a person that could help repair my water heater. He is not honest, is only concerned about squeezing money as much as he can, has little respect for people.I gave him $85 for the service call. He said the repair was $350.00. In the end the entire bill was: $432.00! He took 4 days to repair, he charged me additional for picking up the part and delivering it, he charged another service charge, he did not credit the $85 but only $50 and pocketed the other $35. Run! Do not use this guy!Fed up...

I had an issue with my water heater. Mike came out and looked at it. Said it couldn't be fixed as the model was discontinued. He quoted me for a new fixture, I felt like it was high but given that the holiday was in 2 days I needed to get it done. Before he even worked on the unit, he requested to be paid in full. I paid him in full which I should never have done for a few reasons, but I did. The bill (labor) was extremely high given the work to be done. Either way, the unit was installed. His installer was great, but clearly it was the installer whom was the professional. Mike quoted me for all kinds of exterior venting kits and stuff which to me was never used and I was never refunded anything that may not have been used. He made it look like I was getting a deal which clearly I was not. I know I over paid for the unit and the labor and given the time frame of the events i can understand some of it, but not the ridiculous price I paid. He is not a plumber, he hires out other plumbers to do the work but if that's the case, why not just pay a real plumber to do the job. I dont expect you to know everything about plumbing because you own a plumbing business, but it was clear who knew what they were doing during the install. Shame on me for being pressed for time and not getting another quote. But hopefully my experience can shed light on someone else's before they leap. Will NOT be referring this company in the future.Response to your response:I was not referred to you by the manufacturer, you were on their list of service contractors. Yes I spoke to the manufacturer over the phone that the unit could be replaced but I would be taking a chance. So replace the unit.So because I paid you in cash, the whole amount is due? That still makes no sense. And he drove with me to 1 ATM and 1 bank to be paid in full quite a bit of cash ($3000+) for a job he has yet to do, so where does he lose? He doesn't. The work I was originally quoted for wasn't the work done. By relocating the unit saved you time and materials but was never compensated for that.Because of the relocation of the unit, my water utility bill is $20 higher because of how much water I have to waste in order to get hot water. Thats why I waited 2 months before my review because I wanted a complete picture. I have that now. And the wall drilled through was a 12" cmu/brick wall. For $1200 worth of labor completed in less than 6 hours... I would hope that drilling through the wall would be included. He was supposed to drill 2 but only did one because the real plumber and labor man had to leave so after telling me the unit MUST be vented from outside and that I need this special kit, the vent is pulling air from inside the mud room rather than outside. No money back for that either. What's most interesting about your response, you never denied that you weren't plumbers. Thank you for that.

The absolute WORST experience I have ever had with a plumber. We found him through our home warranty. He attempted to persuade me to pay him directly without using home warranty which felt a little shady. Then he took two pictures and left....water was still leaking. We called him after the weekend to see if he was coming back after we got approval and he said “I am not taking any home warranty clients anymore and if we wanted his help we would have to pay him full price directly!Well, if you are in the warranty network and accept our case and take our deductible payment....then finish the case!!! He then used us as leverage to elicit payment from the home warranty company and then tried to get us to pay full price! Worst business practices I have ever seen! Don’t ever use this guy he is so unprofessional and I hope karma comes back on him! Shame on you.

I just had a complete kitchen renovation including a wall removal and enlargement and FixRUs was fabulous. There was not a single item that was not done perfectly and timely. Mike Patel, the manager, had everything lined up and everyone showed up on time, did an awesome job, and I had not one issue with any problem. The kitchen is gorgeous and I would recommend this company to everyone and would use no one else for any future projects. Also, Mike never let time lapse before responding to any call so communication was great. This is a 12 on a 1 to 10 scale.

Fixrus totally remodeled my 1500 Sq ft basement as the contractor, having individual doing separate projects, framers done good job, electrician done a good job , plumbing was good by Mike, sheetrock person was good, the plasterer he was good in most areas except in the largest media room ceiling, one problem, the ceiling show the frames of the sheet rocks and other areas after it was painted report it to Mike, he was willing to see and fix the problem, it needed to be compound all over, sanded and repainted. Mike always want his customers to be happy and I was happy with the basement but not with the finishing of the ceiling , Mike brought over the guy who apparently did all of the walls to fix the issues, he didn't plastered the complete ceiling he went around in some areas of the sheet rock and plaster and sanded, then Mike had him painted what he did. After paint was dried, I can still see the areas of what I was complaining about, someone suggested to me to have a popcorn done to hide everything but I can't and will not pay a painter 1200 more after I paid out over $$$$ amounts. I told Mike I was not happy with the ceiling, he told me he tried to fix he don't have no money to do anything else with the ceiling to just turn the lights on and I wouldn't see the lines or the areas . overall Mike is ok, he is not as expensive as some contractors and he will get it done, you just have to choose your own products , flooring counter top vanity etc, as far as the flooring, a good job was done but the finishes like the molding was not included in the price with the flooring people so I had to pay extra to have all molding done and the shower door installed, I like Mike not a bad person and he want to make you happy , I love my new look in the basement although of the problem didn't get fix properly , I still recommend him for your project but be alert.
