i received a coupon offer back in july, opened an account with Katherine. The first time we went there, it took us an hour for the opening process and she said there was something wrong and couldn’t finish it. She asked us to go back the second day to finish it up, which we did. After 4 months, we still didn’t get our coupon and I called, the banker said Katherine doesn’t work in that location any more. The banker checked my account and said he will talk to his manager and give me a call back. I waited for more than 2 hours and he never called back. I called again and was told that I have to wait till 01/31 or 03/31 to get the bonus. I asked what will the reason be if I have to wait till 03/31? He said he does not know it and the coupon has two payout dates. Very bad experience, if you really don’t care how long your money has to sit in that bank, by all means, open account with them.

Please be aware of “Cristi Brown” who works at this branch. She had someone by the name of Douglas A Brown JR. Fraudulently withdrawal $5,000 from my personal checking account. TERRIBLE BANK!!!

The two is still better than Wells Fargo SunTrust Wachovia and especially Bank of America. At least my local branch is functional and has competent people. Telephone banking and internet banking are not accurate and do not update timely.

These guys are great, I love the new Reynoldstown location, it's close to my house and very convenient. The bankers are so cool, they know me by name and always greets me when I come in. I even got it opportunity to spend some time with the manager Justin. He spent some time telling me about the Synovus history and I can tell how passionate he is about banking and working for Synovus.

Horrible customer service every time I've called. Not only are the ladies at the 1800 numbers are horribly rude, talk down, everything is your fault not the bank.. I had to move banks and charged me 300 overdraft fees for closing my account. Find anywhere but here

Must have new management...Very serious about security. My husband and I have had the same checking account for 30 years. I cannot even imagine how much we have paid for banking services, or the amount of money we've deposited and withdrawn over the years. Average checking balance always 4 figures. Today I went to withdraw a money and deposit a $12 check if cashed for my son. I was told I could not deposit it bc id signed it in front of teller, it was against the law and I could be charged with forgery. WOW! When I pointed out I had endorsed the check in blue in under my son's signature in black ink they did deposit the check. Basically accused me of forgery no apologies just retorted "I deposited the check".

A new branch just opened and you'll get $300 bonus for opening a checking account with them as long as you meet the requirements of 15 debit card purchases in 60 days. If you want to avoid fees then just keep $1000 in there. Pretty sweet deal so I highly recommend. The promo ends in April though so better hurry. Kai was my banker and she was very nice and friendly. The interior decor was pretty cool. You wouldn't think it is a bank.

Pleasant Customer Service people. But started getting charged customer fees for transfers and overdraft protection that was supposed to come out of our Money Market Account automatically with no fees. I always had this before and was promised when we left Wells Fargo that we would never have any fees whatsoever as we had at Wells Fargo,because we maintain a high Money Market Account. And total Payment mage relationship.
