Kinchley Place is a beautiful home with an interesting history. The owners are very kind and personable. They go above and beyond to make staying there a great experience.

Chances are, if you're in Sylvania, you have a specific reason :) We attended a family reunion and were fortunate enough to find a spot available at the delightful Kinchley Place - a quintessential B&B experience.
We enjoyed an enchanting stay in this historic family home. Our spacious, airy en suite was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Individual A/C was much appreciated on our sweltering weekend.
The freshly prepared breakfasts were delicious. Our warm, welcoming hosts and the peaceful atmosphere made this a truly special weekend. Highly recommend! It's the best B&B experience I've had in years.
*Recommendation: based on other reviews, I'd suggest making any specific dietary requests in advance. It is unreasonable to expect a small family run B&B to stock multiple menu options for only 2 or 4 guests. This is not a fair point to review as I'm sure the lovely hosts would accommodate reasonable requests. That being said, our breakfasts were delicious! On day 1 we enjoyed French toast, sausage and bacon, and fresh fruit parfait with juice selections as well as coffee or tea. On our second day we were served perfectly poached eggs with Canadian bacon, breakfast muffins and fresh asparagus, followed by kiwi and fresh berries.
This is a special spot - I look forward to visiting again for our next family event. Our fellow guests were attending a wedding in Savannah and preferred to stay at Kinchley Place for an authentic B&B experience. There are only 2 bedrooms in this beautiful house so you're assured a private and relaxing stay.

Miss Kathy and Mr. Bob are delightful. When are flight was delayed, she stayed up till midnight to check us in. The rooms were clean. Comfortable beds. Nic big tub *great because my hips*BONUS on the way out of town, we ran over a screw driver. They BOTH came out to help us. AMAZING. The small town has little shops to see, but this place was the highlight of our trip. Bless you guys.

Love the hosts, Bob and Kathy. Delightful historic house with traditional southern charm and it's history told by the host, who lived there as a child.

We found this historical home, now a B&B, while driving backroads avoiding freeways toward Florida. It has 5 star charm and the original antique decor is chucked full of the owners family and area memories. It is very clean and the owners Bob & Kathy are super friendly and helpful. We will keep this place on our radar for future trips.

I was in town for work and lucked out with the chance to stay at Kinchley Place. The house was beautiful, clean, and full of character. I had everything I needed - a small fridge and sink, coffee extra towels and blankets, etc. Last but not least, the owners, Kathy and Bob, were fantastic hosts! I was fortunate enough to sit out on the back porch and chat with them for a while in the morning after breakfast. Oh, and the breakfast was wonderful too! I definitely recommend anyone stay here who has the chance.

Charming 1890’s historic home, very private, comfortable firm king bed, clean linens, complementary drinks in the mini fridge, wonderful hosts, delicious breakfasts. We were in town visiting family and taking a short duck hunting trip. I relaxed in the claw foot tub at 5AM with a hot cup of coffee while reading a cookbook that gave the homes history. How amazing for immediate descendants to still own and run the house after 130 years. Very private B&B the owners live next door rather than in the house. The only thing I would change is to add a small Keurig Coffee maker with individual flavored coffees, small creamers and sugar packets.

A wonderful destination if you're looking for a place to stay in the area. We were here for state little league play with a grandson. Everyone else stayed 30 to 40 minutes away but we were very pleased with accommodations and hospitality. I would certainly recommend Kinchley Place!!

Sylvania’s best-kept secret! This beautiful historic home was perfect for our night in Sylvania, GA. The interior was gorgeous and the exterior was well-maintained. The owners were very friendly and personable: we chatted with them for 15 minutes before checking out. The breakfast was delicious and healthy. The fridge was stocked and the bed huge and comfortable. Would stay again!

I stayed in early March as the buds were just beginning and it was absolutely beautiful. This historic home is lovingly and beautifully decorated. It is elegant and very comfortable with robes, coffee, and a fantastic breakfast. A real treat and I will definitely be back! Highly recommend this fabulous home.
