Treated just like you were invited to hunt with family. Samara is a smaller Quail Hunting Plantation. The service, guides, dogs, food, accommodations were all outstanding. Paula was our guide, her dogs were absolutely fantastic. She worked with my young English Cocker. She made the hunt experience way beyond expectations. The entire staff at Samara was eager to please and make sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this plantation. I booked next year before we left.

This place is great. Large, nice-flying birds. Great guides (Joe is a hoot) and dogs. The jeeps are modern and the seating is ultra comfortable. The terrain, plantation-thinned pines, is perfect. The food, all meals, is hearty, Southern-fare, and great tasting. Open, plentiful bar. They have fine loaner guns if needed. The lodging is nice, up-to-date, and very clean. The staff are super friendly and aim to please. Keith is definitely customer service driven and will do what it takes to satisfy. We're looking to make this an annual event.

Wonderful experience! Hospitality, food, service, and guide made it a memorable experience for a company weekend outing. Hoping it’ll become a yearly event ?

My dad and I went on a hunting trip here for my 18th birthday recently. I had an incredible experience. We stayed two days and one night. The first day we got there around 12 o'clock and ate lunch. Soon after it was off to the fields to hunt. The guides were awesome. Our guide that day was named Joe. He has been there for 18 years. Joe did a great job putting us in a good position to get birds. That night, my dad and I stayed in the lodge. We had a nice dinner prepared by the cooks who went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. The house was extremely nice and it had all of the beverages and food you would ever need. The next morning we went out for a hunt with Joe again. A little while later it was time to leave. What a fun experience. If you are considering going on a get away hunting trip, go here. My dad and I have decided to come back every year from now on. The guides, cooks, and management are very down to earth people who show you a great time. I would most definitely recommend this as a father son weekend or just a one day hunt. Samara Plantation is a great place.
