Pretty place. But staff not interested in discussing wines to help you choose what you might like. I feel like they are more interested in quantity not quality. The white wines tasted like they were watered down 50-50 with water. Very disappointing. Reds sub par. They used to have a great Zin. Went here several years ago and the wines were much better when they were a smaller venue. Oh well live and learn bigger is not better ?

Had the most amazing time here. The owners are a class act. The 70s disco party was incredible, and the wine rivaled and must admit was parallel to California wines. The reds are off the chart. I cannot wait to come back while in the RV this spring and summer for the concert series!!

Wonderful winery! Live music and found a great red wine. 42 North. Spent a great afternoon chilling, brought a charcuterie board and sat by the fire with friends. highly recommend!

Had a wonderful time here! The wine was great, 46 North and Rich mountain were the faves. Met the owner Bobby and learned so much about the wines, the family business, and even got to pet the Scottish highland cows. 10/10 recommend stopping here if you are in Blue Ridge or Ellijay.

Wow, wow, wow!!! The vineyard was beautiful with lots of seating. These guys really know what they’re doing. Logan did an amazing job showcasing their amazing wines and his amazing family. There was so much to love about this family owned winery. I truly enjoyed the stories behind each wine and their label. There were so many great stories. The wines were amazing and some truly unique like their Chardonnay, one of my favorites. Another fave was the wine in the chocolate cups. If you don’t know, visit them and find out. It was a delicious experience. I’m looking forward to sharing this with all my friends and I can’t wait to return.

Really awesome winery to start off our Georgia winery tour. I love the venue decor and the Italian vibe that the place puts off. The live music was okay and the food truck onsite offered some decent selections. Definitely recommend others to check it out and enjoy the inside and outdoor sitting areas.

Nice winery in Talking Rock, about an hour from Cobb/ Cherokee County area. And only 20 minutes from Ellijay. Really good and knowledgeable service. Helped us pick out the best wines. Great food truck and entertainment, too. Very dog friendly which we didn't know about so next time we will bring ours! We will be back!

What a great location. We were a little early and were met by the nicest somaleille She explained the wines and suggested a flight. We chose a Chardonnay and went to the sitting area under the trees next to the chicken coop. A quarter gets some bird food and the chickens come to visit. Then shooter ray showed up and sat with us for about an hour. Such a great dog. All wineries will be judged by their friendly dogs.

I visited on a Saturday afternoon with my family and it was such a nice detour! The staff was incredible and the views are beautiful. We ordered three tasting flights for 7 people and it was the perfect amount! We ended up buying the Cerise and Sunset wines because they were so good. I saw there were charcuterie boards on the menu as well but we didn't order any. I'd love to come back and try it next time.I'd highly recommend Chateau Meichtry to anyone visiting Atlanta, as it's only 1.5 hrs away. An absolute gem in North GA 100% worth the drive.
