I've never stayed away from my Nakita. I was so anxious about leaving her anywhere. These ladies took great care of my baby, kept me updated on her and best of all sent pictures too. When I picked her up , she was happy to see me, but didn't seem like she was ready to leave lol. Great place

If I could give less than a star I would. This place is HORRIFYING. The treatment the animal’s experience in this place breaks my heart. I will never ever step foot near this place and I hope they go under so the dogs can be moved somewhere safe. BE CAREFUL

We adopted an English Mastiff from these fine folks (how she ended up in a rescue that focuses on Labs is a story in itself, but I'm glad she did). She was fully trained. Sweet, affectionate, obedient. You couldn't ask for a better dog. At first I thought the training was a bit expensive, but the perfect outcome is worth the price. Although we have since lost our sweet Miley to bone cancer, I make sure to continue to support this organization with an annual charitable donation. The world needs more needs more places like Life Is Labs and and the people who staff it.

They are the most caring professionals I have dealt with. They work with you with the dog to ensure it goes home with the confidence and training to be the best dog they can be. I have personally had 5dogs go through the 28 day off leash and came back home happy and confident in what they learned. I would 100% recommend them.

We adopted 2 dogs from Life Is Labs. What this rescue group does is like none other. They take in the old dogs, the sickest dogs, the pregnant dogs, the abused dogs. They love every single dog that comes thru their doors as their very own. They put their heart and soul into their rescue group and every single animal. We will adopt from them again in a heartbeat. The best of the best.

Life is Labs is an amazing organization. They give their utmost to give dogs the best possible life on a safe, secure environment with lots of exercise, interactive play with their staff and other dogs. The dogs are well-trained and well-rounded dogs. Their boarding training thar is also available is the best available and I highly recommend it. They take in pregnant mothers from shelters and give them around-the-clock specialized care. The facility is exceptionally clean and well-organized. I highly recommend them!

My puppy was trained by Drew, Darien, and Kristie five years ago. This crew is also our go to boarder. My pup loves "visiting" the Temple facility. When Drew picks him up in his truck on the day we travel, our lab wags his tail off and runs to Drew's truck, jumps in, and is ready to go. He comes home exhausted from all the group play, walks, and swimming. You can trust these folks to no end.

I adopted my dog, Biscuit, there 8 (almost 9) years ago. I can't say enough nice things about Drew, Kristie and Life is Labs. Along with being professionals with an incredible amount of experience, they are devoted to the dogs in their care. I drive 2 hours (one-way) when I need to board her for more that just a few days. I never worry about her from the moment I drop her off. Biscuit is always happy to come back there for a "visit". The off leash training that they gave her before I adopted her has been so valuable. Biscuit is a LARGE dog. It makes walking her so much easier and has saved her life. She could have run out on to Highway 441 chasing a deer, but the "HERE" command they taught her made her stop and come back to me. I highly recommend them if you are considering a dog for your home.

I brought my pup Valo to be trained with Life Is Labs back in March. Prior to training he had problems with barking uncontrollably, jumping, nipping, pulling on leash, and absolutely no recall off leash. Darian did an amazing job with him. I was able to go out to the farm once a week to do training sessions and see his progress. The farm is incredible, there are dog people in this world. And then there is this crew. I could not imagine a better more comfortable and fun environment to have Valo stay at while training. He had so much fun I do not think he wanted to come home after a couple weeks. Upon coming home I was amazed. His problems for the most part were all kept in check and I was given instructions on how to keep him training and retaining everything he learned. I am so thankful for Darian and her team. I am now able to hike with Valo off leash and have no worries of him running off and not coming back. We can even play fetch down at the local schools playing fields and I have no worries that he will go after anyone or any cars. I highly recommend using Life is Labs for any training and boarding needs. Your pup and you will be thankful you did.

We adopted our puppy in May from Iwag (previously Life is Labs) in Atlanta and purchased their training program at the time of adoption. It is one of the best decisions we have ever made! They give you a discount when you buy the training package at the time of adoption, but even with out the discount I would still send me dog there for training. Our puppy, Lulah, went to the Temple location for 4 weeks of training and they did such an incredible job! When the puppies aren't in one on one training sessions they are playing with their small groups in the yard, which consists of 4-5 other dogs with similar personalities. So the puppy is not only learning formal training, but also socialization and how to play nice with other dogs. We went out to the site 4 times over the course of Lulah's training and worked with her and Darian (the trainer at the site). From the first visit I could tell Darian was truly passionate about her work and the dogs. She was very patient with us and instructed us on how best to keep Lulah's training going when we got her home. No puppy is going to come back perfect in just a month, and Darian not only taught Lulah so much, but taught us how to continue teaching her to become a perfect puppy. I also really like how they focus so much on off leash training. We live on a busy street and after the training I feel totally comfortable that Lulah will not run away or into the street. In fact she now has better recall than any dog I know (including our older dog at home who is great off leash). Any way, I cannot recommend Iwag/Life is Labs or Darian enough! They are truly an incredible organization that does so much good for puppies and dogs in need.

My pup has completed a month training and is returning to boarding at this facility. The staff is AWESOME. They truly care about every dog as their own and give you helpful and honest feedback on training.

AMAZING boarding/training - - there's so much room for pups to run around and explore and really get the opportunity to be trained off leash. Our dog had an absolute blast socializing with the other dogs and it's evident that the trainers truly care about each dog and they get to know his/her personality and make good recommendations as they're all super knowledgable as well :) Highly recommend!

I did the 28 day board and train program. Because of how they advertise their training as “sleeping in our home”, I was under the impression that I was signing up/paying for in-home dog training, with one-on-one attention in a lower stress environment. That was not the case. They are a regular boarding facility and one of the owners lives on the same property, which is far from what they are advertising. When I dropped my dog off they didn’t even know where they were going to put her because they were over capacity and running low on kennel space. It was so bad that they almost had to put her in kennel in the cat room. At no point did I actually get to go in the building to see where she would be staying. The trainer didn’t even introduce herself until I finally asked for her name after they had taken my dog and her belongings inside. There was VERY little communication in the 4 weeks that my dog was in training. There was only one time in 28 days that I received an unprompted update. Part of what drew me to this company was because I saw that their webpage had “Pet Updates” and “Photo Gallery” tabs, which lead me to believe that I would actually be updated somewhat regularly. However, not a single update was added to those pages throughout the entire process. They require proof of vaccination (as they should), but they never verified my dog’s vaccinations; which makes me wonder how many non-vaccinated or under-vaccinated dogs are coming through their kennels. I finally picked my dog up last weekend. The only good thing that I have to say is that she did very well with what they taught her. Translating the lessons to back home is still a work in progress, but I believe she will do well with consistent practice. I was rather disappointed to find out that in 4 weeks of training, they only covered 7 commands (here, easy, quiet, sit, wait, kennel, and okay), and she already knew the last 4 of those commands before I dropped her off. They train with a shock collar, which can be done responsibly, but before I felt comfortable using it on my dog, I wanted to assess how the shock felt. So, I tested it on my hand, starting at 0 and slowly increasing the level. Well, it burnt my hand on ~35. They had my 25lb dog on level 40! I felt like a horrible dog owner after that. Needless to say, this was a very frustrating process. The training has done wonders for her off-leash behavior (she isn’t running away from home now), but overall the experience did not match up with my expectations.
