Thomaston WalMart cash only today. It would have been nice to be notified through an announcement or sign on the door before filling an entire cart and finding out at the checkout line.

On a Monday at 6:52 pm only 3 cashiers open. Lines running back into clothing area. Slow cashiers. What are you thinking. Pay some help and have the store staffed. Almost left my buggy and walked off. Walmart do better!!

This store is a class D store but I go because its closer than others. I won't return after this past trip. I buy alot of Red Bull at once (15-30 at a time) & I've used the same reusable shopping bag for 5 years & 4 of those years have been at this store. Outta the blue, a cashier basically accused me of stealing by not letting me ring myself up at self check out. Next visit, Josh, lost prevention guy checks my receipt at the door & tells me to have a good day. I thought I was ok & it was over because I was starting to feel uncomfortable.
About 6 days ago, the Grey haired, rough looking lady at self checkout, accused me flat out of stealing by saying "It looks like there's more in ur bag than what u rang up". She said this to me 3x & wanted to take out the cand out to count & I said NO. Thats the point of the bag. I pick them up 1 time, use 1 can to ring them all up & then take the whole bag in the house. I've had cans bust from rolling around, I've dropped them on my toe ringing them up, busted from dropping, etc. Walmart is already hit or miss because they sell out of Red Bull so quick... she called someone & the told her to tell me I could finish & pay. She looked so mad.
Today, I go back, she & another cashier block the registers so that I couldn't ring up my stuff. They said they didn't do it so I refused & went to another register once open. They blocked me there also & the old woman went & got the lost prevention guy because I asked her too.
He basically ended by lying, saying they didn't do that with the registers (bullcrap), he said they're just doing their job (by harrasing only me every time I come now). I told him I wouldn't be back & he said "ok thats fine"..
THEY DONT GIVE A FLYING FLIP ABOUT ANYONE ANYMORE!!!!!!
He tried to make me feel stupid for using self checkout. He also said, "why can't u go to a reg cahier?"
Because they're slow! I waited & waited & could've been gone 20 minutes prior so I finally let the girl at self checkout leave. My child who has school tomorrow, was with me & they wouldn't lemme pay unless a cashier ringed me out. Didn't even give me the opportunity to ring myself up at all. That's wrong on so many levels. It's gotten so bad everywhere but go to another Wal-Mart because this one is a class D anyhow. The lowest Wal-Mart can be. Based on the region, they send that walmart all the BS.
