Thomasville Eye Center is South Georgia and North Florida's premier eye center, handling everything from optical to ophthalmology. The surgery center performs Lasik and cataract surgery. The remarkable optical shop carries styles like Ray-ban, Oakley, and Costa Del Mar, and fills prescriptions for contact lenses and sunglasses. The doctors are described as very professional, polite, personable, and friendly. The nurses and staff are noted as some of the nicest people, super nice, professional, and cordial. They work quickly to get appointments and handle emergencies. However, the wait time to see the doctor is frequently reported as extremely long, often an hour to an hour and a half.
The wait is extremely long. The lady at the front desk lied saying the wait wouldn't be any longer than 20 minutes but then an hour and a half later, we're FINALLY called back and the nurses that work in the back are so nice. But the wait is EXTREMELY long... That's why it's 3 stars instead of 5.
