Don’t use Regions. They love to profit off of your hardship. I explained I don’t get paid until the next day to fulfill my negative balance. They waived a previous $72 overdraft fee (only 1 lol) just to be told I’d be charged another overdraft fee tonight if I don’t make a deposit by 8pm (keep in mind, I’m like -$200 because they constantly charge overdraft fees) so tomorrow when I get paid, most of my paycheck will be going towards overdraft fees because my bank LOVES to profit off of people’s hardships! Then they got the nerve to ask me to open a savings account 😂
Can’t even wait 1 day before you charge another overdraft fee!!
Lost a customer!

I cannot say enough good things about the employees of Thomson Regions Bank.. From the branch manager to the tellers, service is second to none… when my parents passed away, they were very efficient in guiding us so helping with the process to go smoothly. All documents that were needed at the bank were obtained and saved into the bank accounts… This is very important if anything future were to arise with the estate…

I took a check into the bank from my insurance company. I have never had a hold on anything before. And the lady didn't tell me it would be put on hold. I have been a regions customer for years. Maybe it's time for a change!!

Regions has been extremely helpful with navigating banking in a new town. I left another big bank who just went through a major merger. That bank disappointmented me beyond words. Regions has been a delightful change of pace. Also, if it matters to you if other countries own the banks...do your research. I am very happy I chose Regions.

Only six reviews? Lol. I've been banking with Regions on and off for 11 years. It goes mostly okay - it's a bank. They did catch a $740 chg and issued me a new card the next day. I was grateful. But when you call, and the system says your wait is 5 minutes, you can't believe that. It took 30 mins to get thru. That's fine, it happens. I had a few problems this week and had to call multiple times. Added up to at least 90 mins collectively. The rep told me it would take 3-5 DAYS to credit my account. I was not happy. He did get his supe on the line who did a "one time" courtesy. Okay, great. Why in 2021 with abundant tech is that a thing? Today, I called and a mistaken transaction which was immediately credited by Verizon and showed up in 10 minutes it STILL takes 24-48 hours. The rep acted like that's great because other banks take longer. What frosted my flakes is three of the reps really were dictating what happens with MY money. Banks should be very afraid about right now. For far too long they believe themselves the holders of our money. Between other banking options and crypto, they better up the tech ante and service accounts quick, fast, and in a hurry. This "process" bullspit needs to be seriously looked at. Too many other banks. Be better.

Extremely "disappointed" that Regions closed the Washington Road branch. No longer convenient to drop by the ATM. Now I have to drive to the other side of town, through downtown traffic. Yesterday, after I get to the bank on W. Hill St., there are two drive-through lanes open, but they only have one teller waiting on the two lanes. It's Friday afternoon mind you. While waiting to be serviced I see that the drive-through ATM is closed for repairs. "Great!!!!!". Now Regions only has one ATM machine to service all of their thousands (soon to be hundreds) of customers who need quick cash. The original reason I was there in the first place was to cash my grandson's check (from my account mind you) for some yard work. He endorsed the check and we sent it through the tube. Then the teller wants to know if I have a debit card. I send it through the tube. Then she wants to see his ID. He doesn't have an ID since he's only fourteen years old. "I've got to have some form of ID" she responds. I had enough. I demanded she return the check and left. After approximately forty-seven years of having a checking account with Regions, I'm now looking for a different bank to transfer all of my accounts. My wife will be doing the same.
