My first time dining here, & it was great. Food was delicious, atmosphere was cordial, staff were very friendly and took care of all our needs. Amanda was serving very tasty drinks, & pleasant speaking with.Wheelchair accessibility: There are ramps for wheelchairs.

It was ok. Not bad, not 4-5 star. Old and dingy looking. Got fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and chicken. It was better than most places. Wife got shrimp and grits. I don't eat grits, but for those that do, this place uses stone ground grits, which is a coarse grind. Not my wife's favorite. She like a fine grind like you get with instant grits. Limited menu that is almost all seafood. It was just average. Serving was goodKid-friendliness: Seems ok for kids.

Great place to eat and drink. Great service, and music on the weekends. Little bit on the pricey side and I would say they need to work there restroom situation ( limited bathrooms). I do recommend this location for a visit.Food: 5/5

Saturday (July 16) we had lunch after a long boat day and we were very pleased with the food but especially the service from Kayla (I might have that wrong but she said she goes by 6'9 because that's how tall she feels ?. She went above and beyond and earned a generous tip but I felt she deserved some more recognition so if the owner sees this please give that girl a raise. She made us love this establishment and that's crucial to any business.

I come here at least 6x a year and every time I visit the food is just as good as the last! The space is chill and the scenery is amazing.Food: 5/5

There was a live possom discovered behind the bar 7/1/23 and they didn't take measures to remove it or clean the areas it had been infesting. Also a bad fruit fly infestation and very low cleaning standards behind the bar

Ordered the shrimp poboy. It was tasty. The mozzarella sticks were small, and you could tell they were frozen-had no taste. The spuds were good. I tried one bite. Waitress stated they didn't have skins on them, so I ordered them. Unfortunately, she was wrong. Loved the outside seating with live music! We are from out of town. Not sure if we would come back, but it is worth a first time try.

Excellent food!! My salmon for my sandwich was cooked to perfection. The edges had a slight crisp, the rest was tender and flavorful. The sauce was a perfect combination for the Shrimp and Grits. It was cooked well and had great flavor. I will say that the food took a little time to be ready, but that is to be expected on a busy Saturday night. When we got our food, the wait was forgotten! The bartender was pleasant during our wait. The servers we questioned were kind. The restrooms were clean. Very relaxing atmosphere. When we are back in the area, we will certainly return.

This was not a good trip to Tubby’s in thunderbolt. I generally recommend this location as opposed to the River Street one however today I was sadly disappointed ..we were seated at 12:30. We received our salads ,after asking what was the hold up ,at 1:45 Abby the server said they did not expect to be busy on memorial day so therefore things were running late however the couple that sat across from us and came in at the same time as we Did had already received their food and left.the three tables around us that came in after us received their food and were still there when we left after waiting an hour and a half for our apps, (which was our lunch )the bread was not done however, the mushrooms were so dry and crispy. We could not finish them. The person next to us who had received the same type of bread that we ordered was done beautifully and he received it maybe 20 minutes before we did. I’ve worked restaurants and we all have bad days. However, the server in this case did not even want to acknowledge us most of the time ….it’s like she knew things were going bad and she did not want to deal with it. Honestly, had she come to us in the beginning and said he is going to be a while. Do you still want this or look the kitchen screwed up we made a mistake. Do you have time to wait but nothing !regardless I’m afraid this will probably be the last time I go there and it is a shame because I did love this location. This lunch was being paid for by my coworker for my birthday. I was totally embarrassed because I was the one that bugged her about coming to thunderbolt instead of going to River Street.

Hostess is so rude. No people waiting and yet we can’t be seated outside with empty tables just sitting empty because there is only 2 of us. Will not be back here.

The menu online shows prices that are different than the restaurant. They need to update their website or honor those prices.
