Nick Wilson jumped right on an issue I had with scrambling on my cable. He had his guys out at 5 in the morning to fix this issue. And gave me his number for future issues. He is a man that sees that issues are resolved. Thank you so much Nick and crew.

If I could give this company negative stars I absolutely would. First, they require payment prior to service installation. Then because they have monopolized a rural area you have to wait approximately a week for an appointment. My encounter with this company has been one of the worst experiences with a cable/internet company I've ever had. We waited one week for the appointment and on the day of we were scheduled between 8am and 12pm. At 11:05 I received a call from a 1-888 number and the caller disconnected in less that 7 seconds. I called the number back and it was not a direct number to the technician but to customer service. As I am explaining to customer service, she was refreshing the screen and the technician noted that he called me, I didn't answer and he left me a voicemail. All lies. My mailbox is full. Because of the note the technician entered they put my appointment on something called a rollback. All day I called and inquired about the technician. Finally after calling back at 6 pm I was told no one was coming and wouldn't be able to come out until 4 days later. An entire day of work missed because someone wasn't being honest or doing their do diligence and job. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with customer service for them to tell me that we needed to send them back their equipment or they would take $40 from my refund?! Its a disgusting way to run a business. I hope that one day a more affordable and reliable company is available for the smaller cities.

Internet only works sometimes not good for online gaming. Only works when it wants to and I've had 3 different boxes. All my newborn have experienced the same thing . Definitely switching this horrible internet. And the guy that came out was drinking a 40?

I honestly wish I could give this ISP 0stars. We have had nothing but issues with this internet since we moved to the area and had a NEW install 6 months ago. Terrible customer service and spotty internet. When it’s up and working speeds are good, but that is probably only like 10-20% of the time. I shouldn’t have to use my cell phone hotspot for good stable internet when I pay $85 a month for internet.

Was told that I would be able to get service in my area. Everyone around me is able to receive services from mediacom but we’re stuck with nothing because no one else can service out here.

awful company but only choice that is worth considering for internet in the area. If there were another decent ISP I would go with them, Mediacom is a poor excuse for a company and drops the ball a lot on their end.

For the last three months we’ve had nothing but trouble , every day unable to connect to Internet, call support, they said it’s fix same thing. It’s not worth the 92 dollars a month. This is bad!
