We recently moved from PA to GA. The town we moved to, PODS wasn't available but they recommended U-Pack. I knew we needed this type of service, renting a truck wasn't an option for us. In the end, all our belongings made it safe and on time to GA. However, there was some lack of communication/information. Don't assume when one person tells you the truck will be picked up on the day per your contract, you still have to call and arrange/inform them you're ready for pick up. In regards to delivery, they give you a timeframe when your belongings will be delivered. HOWEVER, they fail to mention that what it really means is that those dates are when your belongings will arrive at the nearest transit location to your new home. Then, once it is there, you have to call to schedule a delivery date. Luckily, I found this out a few days before moving. There is an option that cost $410 more, but they guarantee you a delivery date at your house. Moving out of state is expensive, so for us, we were going to be at our new house before the trailer was delivered and this extra option allowed for our belongings to show up the same day we arrived. Once we unpacked, it only took a simple call to have the trailer picked up. I would use this service again, but as a first time user, a lot of confusion could have been avoided if they would have explained things in more detail when I called.
