The Schoolhouse Vendor Market is hands down the best little antique mall in the Toccoa area. I recently made my second visit, and it was just as enjoyable as the first.

The market is located inside the charming old Carnes Creek Elementary School building, which gives the entire place a nostalgic, hometown feel the moment you walk in. It’s such a unique setting for an antique mall, and it adds a lot of character to the shopping experience.

What really makes this place special, though, are the people. Chelsea and Michelle were fantastic hosts—both incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to chat or help you find something interesting. It’s the kind of place where you feel appreciated as a customer rather than rushed through.

Inside you’ll find a huge variety of eclectic items—antiques, collectibles, vintage decor, furniture, and all kinds of unique treasures. Every booth has something different, so it’s easy to spend a lot of time browsing and discovering things you didn’t even know you were looking for.

If you enjoy antique hunting, this place is absolutely worth a visit. In my opinion, it’s much nicer and more enjoyable than Cornerstone Antiques in the downtown area, and the atmosphere is far more welcoming.

“3 floors of antiques and homemade craft items. There are also many items that are vintage. Most of the vendors keep their areas meet and tidy but some could stand to do some dusting. It is like a maze to get around the store. There are some areas that you have to turn sideways to go through. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and I intend to return.”
