This is by far the worst bank I have ever dealt with! First they charged us 10$ to reset a PIN number for debit cards that were not set up right when we opened the account. We have a car loan through them now and we are trying to refinance with someone else, they wouldn’t give the other bank the payoff. So I called they said they could only fax the information, or have a loan specialist call us back. That was last week! I called them literally 15 times and got hung up on once. We are still trying to get the payoff!!

Teller staff at window and inside are very friendly and professional! My only complaint is sometimes you can call for days and don’t get a response or returned call. I filled out an application for a loan over a week ago and still haven’t heard from the representative to finish it. I have experienced this more than once. When this has happened before I had to reach out to the Lavonia location and they are always very responsive! I have literally had to do loans with the Lavonia and have them send the paperwork to the Toccoa branch. I was looking at to see what requirements are needed for a mortgage loan. When I called to discuss this with the Toccoa Loan Rep, we discussed filling it out and getting an idea what I needed to do to get ready or what price range I would approve for. And still have heard nothing.

I lost a personal investment of $50,000, scams like these are always final, especially when an exit scam is been pulled. Recovery is difficult but very possible, if you seek counsel from the right Recovery experts. After losing so much to this fraudulent investment company, I realized I've been scammed I sought for help, luckily I was referred to a security and intelligence company. who are a group of recovery specialists with effective procedures to recover lost funds, and with their help, I was able to recover my investments. I'm willing to share my experience with anyone that needs help

I HAVE BEEN BANKING HERE BOUT 10 YEARS. I GOT DENIED A CAR LOAN ON A CAR THAT I HAD LEASED THE PAST 3 YEARS. I ALREADY HAVE THE CAR. THE BOOK VALUE IS AMOST $6000 MORE THAN WHAT I OWE. I ASKED CREDIT UNION TO BUY OUT THE LEASE GOT DENIED. MY LOWEST CREDIT SCORE IS A 760. I HAVE NOT PAID A BILL LATE IN OVER 10 YEARS. I MAKE DECENT MONEY. MY HUSBAND MAKES DECENT MONEY. YET EVERYBODY SAYS GO TO CREDIT UNION THEY WILL HELP YOU EVEN IF YOU HAVE BAD CREDIT. WELL I HAVE EXCELLENT CREDIT.

My husband and I have been with them since we moved home. They've helped us build our credit, buy vehicles and most of all they've been there for us. We've only had one big problem in all these years and the Hartwell branch took care of it restoring my faith in my credit union. All my kids have their accounts here and they'll grow with this bank. Thank you Hartwell branch for all you've done for us.
