I have dealt with a lot dealers and by far Boat Sales and service is the best I have ever dealt with. You can believe what they tell you

The lead mechanic did an outstanding job on my boat. He spoke to me about every detail prior to doing the job. Very happy with the customer service and the time it took to do the work.Highly recommended

Took our golf cart to them 3 times for the same problem and still the same issue. They said they changed all the bushings in the front end and they did not still have the old wore out bushings and play in the front end! Never will I take anything back down there

Was cussed out by the owner for not letting him do a complete job due to not being able to afford the complete job on my end. Will never recommend this establishment to anyone. Especially if you want to be respected as a human

I rarely provide reviews but in this case after both my wife and I questioned Claude and this establishment what happened to a boat we left on consignment with no valid answers. After having repair work done, I asked that a new battery be included for a possible buyer to test the outboard. I had stated to David Deloach that it didn't make sense to install a battery until and if the boat sold. I also indicated that they insure no gas was left in the outboard during the consignment period so the new carburetor wouldn't gum up from sitting. Recently, within three days we were called to pick up the boat as they had no buyers within the past year and a half. Claude states we were called a year ago to pick up the boat. We received no such call, and when we did go to pick up the boat, they didn't have our new battery, nor was the fuel drained from the carburetor, therefore the fuel has soured and gummed up the brand new carburetor. When any boat is left under consignment the care of said boat belongs with the consignor, which in this case was not done, nor were the conditions of the consignment. Claude takes no responsibility for a new battery which shouldn't have been installed since David indicated they could use the shop battery should someone wanted to hear the motor. It is obvious they started the boat and added gas to the fuel tank since I brought the boat to them with no fuel whatsoever. Never again shall we use their services, and we shall not recommend a company who takes no responsibility for caring for someone else's property. Not a novice, been boating well over 60 years.

Under new management (zero isn’t an option so 1 star will have to do)Don’t go thereThey were hired to fix an insurance claim on my T TopWhile it was there I did spend some extra money on bottom paint and new trailer tires and bearings and motor serviceThey didn’t fix the T Top right and had to go back for warrantyFirst words out of Claude’s mouth when I brought it back was what else did I need done which I said nothing just please fix the T Top rightBoat sat for 2 months because they weren’t going to make any moneyFinally had to open a new claim to go somewhere else and went to get my boatSomeone had let the air out of one of my brand new trailer tires and someone cut my trailer light plug off ....can’t wait to see what else isn’t working since I checked everything before I took it there

I had the pleasure of doing business with Claude and Jim today. My family and I just transferred from NJ and were in the market for a golf cart. We had no idea how competitive the market was But these two made the process so easy. Their customer service and ability to develop instant rapport is off the charts. They personally delivered the cart and walked me through all the moving parts. We look forward to doing business with y’all again. I highly recommend them!:-)

They recently hung a new 25hp Yamaha on my boat and did a few other minor repairs. Extremely helpful, responsive to my many questions, and took a lot of pride in their work. There are several Yamaha dealers that are closer to where I live, but I'll gladly drive the extra distance for future service because I know they will do it right.

I was headed south on I-95 (in the middle of the Rona Plandemic no less) when I had the unfortunate luck of blowing out both of my boat trailer tires, one right after the other (in the middle of the night naturally). The Roadside tire service was poor to say it best and only made things worse charging 250 dollars for a tire that had no business holding air in the first place let alone be on a trailer, so when the 2nd one blew there was no way I was calling them back, Limped off the road at dawn where I called Boating Sales and Service in nearby Townsend GA. (about 20MI away from where i was) Claude not only dropped whatever he was doing to find a suitable tire but loaded his truck with everything needed to come take care of it. This is not their job but I can't even say what I would have done without the help. Any one who goes to such great lengths to go out of their way like this to help a stranded boater for the meager price of a used boat trailer tire deserves all the praise you can heap on them. I would recommend their services to anyone who needs them. Good businessmen run great businesses and deserve to thrive as a result.

I brought my boat in for a long list of things I needed taken care of. My list included getting the boat bottom scraped and painted, hull damage repaired where some one hit me, also buffed and waxed, some new electronics installed, and a complete annual engine maintenance and tuneup on my Yamaha 150. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of all of the work. My engine is 12 years old and it hasn’t run that quiet and smooth in a while. David the manager was upfront with me about everything and the time it would take to get it all done. He is a true professional. I felt their prices were very fair. Highly recommend.

These guys! Man...not only are they extremely friendly, but they also know how to make you feel appreciated and like your business matters to them. Maybe I got lucky and was at the right place at the right time, but these guys took care of replacing the windshield on my boat...while I waited!!! And trust me...I didn’t mind the wait. Their facility is nice with a large covered area with a very nice swing. The dogs are very friendly and will keep you company, too. David answered all my questions and made recommendations on things my boat may be needing in the near future. I highly recommend these guys if you’re needing work done on your boat. Hassle free, stress free, and they’re not gonna nickel and dime you. Thanks guys, for a great visit.

Always willing to put up with my silly questions I have for my old Force 120 ... I think all they did was rebuild my Carbs and they have been there for me ever since.Left my boat with them while down there vacationing on the Crescent River about 2 years ago...Drove down when it was done.. they safely stored and looked after a few items that road down in the boat but would not fit in the truck for the return trip to Beaufort SC...Love their Pups Too.. Friendly Folks good service for sure too.. Techs are informative as well...Oh... If you take them a 97 Mercury Force 120...Be ready to here the truth :) lol!But they put up with me and my 85 Bayliner because it was my dads before he past and they know what it means to me to be able to take my Moms out in it...
